A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Alumni, Friends, and Supporters,

I am honored to welcome you to the 20th Annual President’s Scholarship Gala, a milestone celebration of excellence, community, and a shared vision for the future. This year, our Gala embraces the Homecoming theme Legendary, a tribute to the enduring legacy of Langston University and the extraordinary individuals—past, present, and future—who make our story remarkable.

Legendary is more than a theme; it reflects the spirit of Langston itself. For 128 years, this institution has shaped lives, built leaders, and advanced opportunities for generations. Tonight, we honor not only the legends who paved the way but also the students whose potential and promise will define the next chapter of our history.

As always, the heart of this Gala is our students. The need for scholarships remains great, and many of our young scholars face financial barriers that could keep them from reaching their dreams. Your generosity—whether through a gift large or small—ensures that Langston University continues to be a place where talent meets opportunity, where hope meets possibility, and where students become the next generation of legends.

On this 20th anniversary, I thank you for your steadfast support of Langston University and for joining us in creating a legacy that is truly Legendary.

With Lion Pride,
