Products
An image of a product must enable viewers to visualize themselves using a product while showcasing the brand’s values and aesthetics. Technical skills are the keys to success for these types of photographs. For instance, lighting, composition, and attention to detail are required for impactful product photographs.
Rebranding
This project is focusing on rebranding the iconic sugar cookie. This cookie is irresistible and delicious. Each image conveys how yummy these cookies are with the dramatic pops of color and strategic compositions. The specific food styling is playful to encourage the desire for these cookies.
La Bourgeoisie
Social hierarchy has always been prominent in society. There is always a line that determines what a person can have because of their status, and food is no different. There is an expectation of what food a college student can eat compared to a middle-aged man. This project questions the hierarchy through a high-end presentation of stereotypical college food. Traveling through this ten-course meal of common college food items showcases a professional presentation while also reflecting on amateur food photography.
Portraits
A portrait is all about capturing a person in a specific moment. It is a tool used to store core memories. Every portrait is about the value of a photograph after it’s taken. It holds a story of the past to be cherished forever. Clients and models should feel special and empowered when they see their portraits. Each person has unique quirks, and their personality should be evident in the photographs.
Precarious Beauty
Natural disasters and immense destruction are common headlines in the 21st century. Society is becoming desensitized to photographs from the constant documentation of extreme weather events. This project reflects on the destruction of natural and human-made elements by unknown causes through contrasting, exaggerated scenarios depicted using colorful embroidery.
