C HR I S TOPHE R® R E MOVABL E NE CK MODE L Traveling with the bass is always a challenge. It is getting more restricted and expensive especially traveling by air. To make traveling with the bass easier, Concord has developed a double bass with a removable neck. As the maker of the Eminence bass, Concord is very experienced in making portable basses. Because of the steel dovetail joint, the neck can be removed and assembled within just a few minutes.

The 3-piece well padded soft case (PV504) for the Christopher RN can be used for both the assembled and disassmbled bass. The overall dimension of this package isn’t much more than the dimension of the bass’ body (70 cm x 130 cm), small enough to fit in a car trunk, train compartment, or even a bike trailer easily. An optional flight hard case is also available for the Christopher RN. The dimensions of the fl ight hard case are L 55‘‘ x W 32‘‘ x H 22‘‘; the total weight, including instrument, is 60.5 lbs. 8❧

E M I N E N C E ® E L E C T R IC U PR IGHT B A S S The Eminence bass has an arched top and bottom, a bass bar and a soundpost - the same structural design as a standard-size double bass. The unamplified sound of the Eminence is great for practising in the hotel room or if you have sensitive neighbors. Played amplified, the Eminence with its acoustic body sounds like a larger acoustic double bass. The string length of 105 cm / 41-1/4“ and a standard-size neck deliver a familiar playing feel and an easy transition from standard-size double bass to portable upright bass. The Eminence bass is also available with a removable neck option (Eminence RN models). It just takes a few minutes to assemble or disassemble the Eminence RN. A steel dovetail joint guarantees a resistant and durable fit. An additional sturdy fl ight case with wheels is also available. Models: ■
