Known as CALT (Transport and Logistics Services Center), this new facility uses state-of-the-art technology to regulate and manage the flow of vehicle traffic. It uses a system called Unified Asset Visibility to systematize and regulate the entry of heavy vehicles into the port area and ZAL.
Activities Zone is now under way and this work is due to be completed in 2012.
CALT covers 13.8 hectares and is able to accommodate up to 650 heavy goods vehicles.
