Malawi’s leading car rental company Established more than 25 years ago, Avis Malawi is the nation’s leading car rental company, with over 75 vehicles. Services include Rent a Car, Luxury Cars, Chauffeur Drive, Point 2 Point and Avis Fleet Services. Avis Malawi has five branches in Malawi: • Chileka International Airport, Blantyre • Blantyre Downtown • Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe • Lilongwe Downtown • Sunbird Capital Hotel, Lilongwe. As part of the worldwide Avis network, with over 5,000 outlets in 160 countries, Avis Malawi maintains a high

Membership programmes have been developed using special cards which include rewards such as earning miles, airline partnership rewards and discounted rates. The Avis Malawi fleet comprises a range of models including Toyota Corolla, Toyota Prado, VW Polo, VW Tiguan and 30-seat vehicles such as the Toyota Coaster. All these vehicles are the latest models, maintained with an international replacement policy of 15 months whereby replacement vehicles are injected into the fleet. Avis Malawi offers special rates for weekend trips and holiday tours. It also handles long-term rentals for corporate clients. The company has also introduced the new Avis GPS service – the first of its kind in Malawi.
