Meet the... PEP RALLY TEAM

The pep rally is always a highlight of spirit week, bringing together all sorts of students and teachers looking to see what is in store for them. For this winter’s rally, the pep rally team has been working hard behind the scenes setting up the games, getting the sports teams lined up, and working on special surprises.

The work of the pep rally team is crucial to how the pep rally goes on the Friday before break. Before the pep rally starts, here’s a look at who is on the team and what you can expect at the pep rally.

This is history teacher Brian Courtemanche and it is his second year of being the advisor of this team. He is very excited for this upcoming winter pep rally.

“We have a lot of great surprises and a lot of giveaways, potentially, so I’d be very excited about it, but just in general, we’re gonna bring the spirit, and we want you guys to do the same thing,” Courtemanche said.

This is senior Evan Fortin and it his first year on the team. His favorite part of of the team is being able to plan all of the events that happen during the pep rally

of people to the meetings.

“I like bringing people to meet our team because we have a really good one, which makes it easy to get people to want to join,” Dillon said.

Although she “loves everything” about the pep rally, her favorite part is getting students involved.

“Our goal is to get as many people involved in our pep rallies as possible, and not having kids sitting up in the stands on their phones,” Dillon said.

Meet senior Charlotte Betty, this is her second year. Her favorite part of the pep rallies is beforehand when they get everything together, as it is “a stressful fun.”

“We have some pretty cool co-

hosts and hosts, and we’re gonna have some fun games and the more you do, the more fun the pep rally is overall. It’s gonna be real fun, we have some surprises.”

This is freshman Ava Cornett, and it is her first year on the team. Cornett was recruited by Dillon.

“I really like when we meet. It is pretty funny and we always have some good conversations.”

This is just a sneak peek of who is behind the scenes during the pep rallies. While not every member is highlighted, it is clear that the collective school spirit and hard work of the team will make a lasting impact on Lancer Nation.
