The Gancayco Balasbas & Associates Law Offices was organized by the late Justice Emilio A. Gancayco soon after he retired as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines after an illustrious years, twenty of which
career with the Government spanning a lmost forty
were with the Judiciary. He invited young but highly
experienced and energetic lawyers from various offices to join the Firm as partners. Together, they recruited and accepted well-qualified lawyers to be their
Associates.
The Firm was formally inaugurated in 1991. Backed by years of legal practice, the Firm has always produced the best results in the most efficient manner for all clients, based locally and abroad. All its lawyers are accomplished and, more importantly, trustworthy. The Firm’s lawyers are ably supported by a decidedly efficient staff and an array of technical consultants. Wellestablished lawyers and professionals solicit the assistance, guidance and leadership of the Firm in many delicate and important cases and other legal work in obvious recognition of the Firm’s esteemed stature in the Philippines law profession. The Firm specializes in the practice of intellectual property law. Headed by the firm’s senior partner, Atty. Pablo Gancayco who is also the current President of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines, our clients receive superb assistance in the protection of their respective brands, inventions and business registrations.
