under the direction of George Felker III, opening in the spring of 1970 at Presentation Theatre; This rol'licking musical was first produced in London a few years ago, and has since been performed happily at Ashland, and Stanford. Recently written, it is set in the style of the 1700's, and has received marvelous reviews.

Our well-known Pirates of Penzance will be on the boards with the Pir ate Band spiriting away M ajor Stanley's daughters and the doughty Policemen thwarting them in the best Gilbertian 'English tradition.

An entirely new production of Die Fledermaus, whi ch was so brilliantly directed by Orva Hoskinson, our Artistic Director . H e will direct it again, in his own English version of this delightful Viennese comedy with its beautiful music.

This Award will tremendously benefit The ,Lamplighters. Yet we will always have to continue our efforts to bridge the gap between production costs and box office ,income.

We still need six new 1lighting instruments {$125) each, a new table saw ($250), a new router ($75) and a new sabre saw ($90). All contributions received from The Mikado and The Gala will go to help purchase these.
