NEW YORK MARATHON CANCELLED Among the problems caused by the coronavirus, the cancelling of mass events is the one that will eventually disappear later. Concerts, parties and sporting events have all been affected by the rules to avoid crowds and ensure the fateful social distancing. The last to be cancelled was the New York City Marathon, the largest in the world. This year's edition would have been number fifty. The numbers that revolve around this event make the causes of the cancellation clear: about fifty thousand participants every year and more than one million spectators on the streets of the Big Apple. Orecchiette and lentils
Ingredients: 300g of orecchiette, 500g of lentils, 1 red onion, celery, garlic, salt, pepper, extra-virgin olive oil Cantina Coppola Soak her lentils the night before. The next morning, put them in water adding salt, garlic, red onion and celery, and cook over low heat for about 2 hours. Ten minutes before the end of cooking remove the odours, add the orecchiette and let them cook in the lentils. Finally, season with extra virgin olive oil and pepper.

THE BELL TOWER
#LECCE
It could be considered as the tower of Pisa of Salento, even if it is not so leaning. The bell tower of the Cathedral Santa Maria Assunta in Lecce, designed by Giuseppe Zimbalo and built between 1661 and 1682, is one of the tallest Baroque buildings in Salento. It is a square tower with five tapered floors. To make the structure more harmonious and rounded there are four single windows per floor and the final majolica dome, surmounted by an iron St. Oronzo. From the top of the bell tower, when the sky is clear and the horizon is carefully scrutinized, you can glimpse the mountains of Calabria.
