very year, on the evening of August 10th, we're all nose up hoping to see some shooting stars. But why do we do it? We hope that summer brings good luck, that our wishes can come true and it's a great excuse for a night on the beach. Why exactly tonight? A series of coincidences. At this time of year the swarm of Perseids passes very close to the earth with more meteors crossing the atmosphere. he Vermentino Li Cuti was born in the 80's from an experiment conducted with the scholar Giovanni De Rinaldis. This vine here, in the IonianGallipolitan arc, has found favorable soil and microclimate. The intuition came to Carlo Antonio Coppola from the memory of the vineyards of Châteauneufdu-Pape, in the lower Rhône area of France, which he visited in 1952, characterized by a very pebbly soil. The experts Antonio Calò and Angelo Costacurta praised the Vermentino Li Cuti in their volume "Dei Vitigni Italici". Try it as a fresh aperitif.

Spaghetti alla pizzaiola
Ingredients: Cantina Coppola extra virgin olive oil, anchovies, tomato sauce, garlic, capers, salt, pepper Prepare a pan with oil, a clove of garlic and anchovies and fry. t is the beach par excellence of the gallipolini and not only. The beach of Purità, a small inlet in the old town, takes its name from the church that overlooks it.
