FAKE NEWSFAKE NEWS FAKE NEWS

To define the concept, we must first consider the following:

Misinfomation: False information that is spread, regardless of whether there is intent to mislead

Disinformation: Deliberately misleading or biased information; manipulated narrative or facts; propaganda

Fake news: Fake purposefully crafted, sensational, emotionally charged, misleading or totally fabricated information that mimics the form of mainstream news. (Zimdars, & McLeod, K. 2020)

After defining and studying the term and its consequences, we conducted surveys to study some factors, some of these results are shown below:

People are not familiar with the term!!!

Most people believe that the public should be made aware of the situation and thus help them to be informed about reliable media, they also say that those who generate this ent should be punished.

This percentage of people do not compare the news they read with other sources!

And finally they propose to generate technology that helps us to verify when a news is false.

People do not know how to distinguish a fake news from a real one
