A.) an der New York University hat Magdalena Steffenhagen als Drehbuchentwicklerin, Aufnahmeleiterin und Regieassistentin in Amerika, England, Schweden und Deutschland gearbeitet. 2014 ist sie als Producerin der Bavaria Fiction beigetreten, wo sie derzeit das Projekt DAS BOOT für Sky Deutschland betreut. ■ Magdalena Steffenhagen After finishing her Masters in Cinema Studies at New York University Magdalena Steffenhagen worked as a script developer, 1st AD and unit manager in America, England, Sweden and Germany. 2014 she joined the team of Bavaria Fiction as a producer. Currently she is working on the project DAS BOOT for Sky Germany.
studied Media Management in Saarbrücken and Marseille and Film Production at the BAF in Munich. He started out with the Cologne based distributor Legend Films, where he worked in Acquisitions and Distribution on films by Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Larry Clark and Gaspar Noe. He then joined Bavaria Film Group’s distribution company Bavaria Media and held various positions until he headed the Theatrical and Home Entertainment department and released films like “We need to talk about Kevin” and “Tyrannosaur” theatrically in Germany. In this position as a distributor, he participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus 2012. After leaving Bavaria Media, he set up the distribution company Meteor Film in Cologne to acquire and distribute films on the German market. As a freelancer, he started developing some of his own production projects before he joined Munich based production company maze pictures in 2016, where he is currently working as a producer. At the moment, he is involved in the preparation of the action comedy “Guns Akimbo” starring Daniel Radcliffe, which is shooting soon.

Ewa Szurogajlo ist Förderberaterin für das europäische Filmförderprogramm Creative Europe MEDIA. Nach Abschluss ihres Studiums der Internationalen Beziehungen an der Wirtschafts universität in Poznan (Polen) und an der Aalborg Universität (Dänemark) arbeitet die gebürtige Polin als Projektmanagerin in verschiedenen Branchen (CCR Logistics Systems, Wirecard Techno logies). 2011 gründet sie die polnischen Filmtage filmPOLSKA München mit, die sie drei Jahre lang leitet. 2012 erhält sie ein Drehbuchstipendium an der 24. Drehbuchwerkstatt München. Im selben Jahr nimmt Sie Ihre Förderberatungstätigkeit auf beim Creative Europe Desk München, einem Informationsbüro der MEDIA Förderung. ■ Ewa Szurogajlo is funding consultant for films and games at Creative Europe Desk Munich. After graduating in International Relations at the University of Economics in Poznan (Poland) and the Aalborg University (Denmark) she worked as Project Manager in various industries (CCR Logistics Systems, Wirecard Technologies). In 2011 she co-founded the Polish film days in Munich and managed the event for three years. In 2012 she received a scholarship by the screenwriting programme Drehbuchwerkstatt München. At the same time she started working as funding consultant at Creative Europe Desk Munich, an information office of the European film funding programme Creative Europe MEDIA.
Christoph Meiser studierte Medienmanage ment in Saarbrücken und Marseille, sowie Filmproduktion an der BAF in München. Er begann beim Kölner Verleih Legend Films, wo er im Bereich Acquisitions und Verleih/Vertrieb an Filmen von Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Larry Clark und Gaspar Noe arbeitete. Danach wechselte er zur Vertriebsgesellschaft der Bavaria Film-Gruppe Bavaria Media, wo er verschiedene Positionen innehatte, bevor er die Leitung der Kino- und Home Entertainment-Abteilung übernahm und Filme wie „We need to talk about Kevin“ und „Tyrannosaur“ in Deutschland ins Kino brachte. In dieser Funktion als Verleih nahm er am Berlinale Talent Campus 2012 teil. Nach seinem Austritt aus der Bavaria Media gründete er die Meteor Film in Köln, um Filme für den deutschen Markt zu erwerben und im deutschsprachigen Raum zu vertreiben. Als freier Mitarbeiter begann er, eigene Produktionsprojekte zu entwickeln, bevor er 2016 zur Münchner Produktionsfirma maze pictures ging, wo er derzeit als Producer arbeitet. Im Moment ist er vor allem an der Vorbereitung der Action-Komödie „Guns Akimbo“ mit Daniel Radcliffe beteiligt, die in wenigen Monaten Drehstart hat. ■ Christoph Meiser
