You don’t need to lock your doors in Queenstown. This has long been something of a point of pride for locals and as an ex-pat it’s something I tell my friends and family back home in the UK, where if something isn’t nailed down, there’s a good chance it will be nicked. When I lived in city centre Manchester, I had to park my old banger on the street. It was broken into at least five times in two years, windows smashed, even though there was nothing inside and I left the glove box open and parcel shelf off. In another example (there are many), a friend parked his truck with a trailer and ride-on-mower outside his house, popped back inside to get something and when he came out, trailer and mower were gone. As a teenager, I had my beloved mountain bike pinched from my garage a few days before Christmas.
I was shocked when I settled in Queenstown that a Kiwi friend would leave his expensive Apple laptop on the passenger seat of his car or work van. It’s the same in Dubai, where there’s something called the Dubai Test. You leave your Rolex and laptop on a table, walk away for a few hours, come back and find they’ve not been touched. In both Dubai and Queenstown, the locals are obviously generally good sorts, although in Dubai there’s probably the added incentive of fairly draconian punishments for theft. Anyway, it has taken me 10 years to chill out about potential theft, and not lock the house every time I pop out for five minutes. I still lock the car and all the house doors at night. Thing is, it now looks as if Queenstown is unfortunately slowly catching up to the rest of the world in terms of property crime.
Each week, our reporter Sue Fea talks to local cops and emergency services for her Crimeline page (p6). It appears to me, from this, there’s more and more car break-ins, thefts and burglaries than ever before. Some of it is definitely kids misbehaving but not all of it. I also read on social media about someone who’d had $25k worth of tools stolen from their house on Valentine’s Day. That makes me wonder whether we have a professional gang of thieves operating in the town. We’ve always had late-night assaults and drunken shenanigans, but this seems more organised.
It’s bloody sad and annoying because the actions of a few pricks means the time has now come for us to take security more seriously - empty cars and vans, lock doors, install security cameras, put bikes away. Maybe it’s another symptom of growth, like the traffic and housing shortage. If it is organised crims, I hope the cops catch them, and I hope our other smalltown freedoms - kids walking home from school, no muggings, no knife crime and other nasties - are not so easily lost.

Queenstown couple honoured by Cambodia
Liger Leadership Academy founders Trevor Gile and Agnieszka TynkiewiczGile have been recognised for their significant contributions to education in Cambodia.
The Queenstowners were awarded the prestigious Knight of the Grand Cross, Royal Order of Monisaraphon, acknowledging their 15 years of work through the Liger Charitable Foundation and Liger Leadership Academy in Cambodia.
The knighthoods are extremely rare - in its 120 year history, Trevor and Agnieszka are the 14th and 15th recipients.
The award ceremony, held in Phnom Penh on 10 February, 2025, recognised the Giles’ support in pioneering the learning model, building the school and boarding facilities, and providing full scholarships to 163 Cambodian students. Some 60 Liger graduates have received full scholarships to pursue higher education at international universities across 10 different countries, including the USA’s Princeton, Northwestern, and Dartmouth, Canada’s University of British Columbia, and Japan’s Nagoya University of Commerce and Business. “We are incredibly honoured and humbled by this recognition from the Cambodian government and King,” Trevor says. “Our passion lies in empowering young people through education, and we are immensely proud of the impact the Liger programme has had on the lives of Cambodian students. This award inspires us to continue our expansion and achieve the same results in New Zealand.”
Agnieszka adds: “It’s a privilege to be able to contribute to the education sector, both here in Queenstown and in Cambodia. We believe that education is a powerful tool for positive change, and we are committed to providing opportunities for students to reach their full potential.”
This recognition from the King and Country of Cambodia comes on the heels of the international recognition Liger has received, including being named one of the 100 most innovative schools in the world by HundrED.
They also received the Education Award at the Spirit of the Wakatipu Gala, where they were recognised for the impact Queenstown’s local Liger Leadership Academy has had on local students and the community. They’ve also been featured on the BBC, Good Morning America, Forbes, and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Agnieszka, Trevor, and Minister of Education Youth and Sport Hang
The Liger Leadership Academy in Queenstown, mirroring the model in Cambodia, focuses on developing leadership skills and fostering a passion for learning in its students. The school emphasises a project-based learning approach, encouraging students to become innovative thinkers and problem solvers within their own community.

Natural Selection sends it
Queenstown’s reputation as one of the top mountain bike spots in the world has just been given another major boost.
Fifteen of the best riders on the planet competed in the inaugural Natural Selection Bike Aotearoa on a custom-made course on Mt Dewar, above Arthurs Point, on Saturday, cheered on by a crowd of 1,500.
The competition, which will be broadcast on Red Bull TV and Natural Selection’s YouTube from 6 March, aims to showcase New Zealand as a world-class mountain bike destination.
It’s been supported by Government’s Major Event Fund and made possible by billionaire Queenstown mountain bike advocate Rod Drury, who funded the build of the Mt Dewar course.
And the organisers have now confirmed it will return in 2026 and become an annual event.
Event Director Sophie Luther thanked both the Government and Drury for supporting the “massive effort to create this incredible course and bring a world-class freeride mountain bike event to NZ”.
“Natural Selection Bike is an annual event and we look forward to returning to this beautiful site in 2026 for another fantastic competition,” she says.
A 2022 report from Arrowtown-based economist, commissioned by Drury, estimates the bike visitor economy could be worth $209.8 million by 2026, almost 50% of the size of the ski visitor economy.
Riders from six countries competed in the comp, blending Big Mountain Freeride, Slopestyle, and Downhill, on a bluebird day in Queenstown. Poland’s Szymon Godziek and Argentina’s Cami Nogueira laid down incredible runs to earn the top podium spots. Godziek, 33, landed huge backflips and 360s on his way to an impressive combined score of 92.88.
“Winning was my goal when I came here. It’s been a hard week, I’ve practiced everyday and been giving it 100% so I couldn’t be more happy,” Godziek says.
“I’ve loved this event, it’s a mix between slopestyle, freeride and downhill and you have to be a very skilled rider to be able to ride on these features. There are sections where you need to really manage your speed to be safe and get the landings.
“My goal was to be the guy who mixed it up and did everything. I did front flips, back flips, tailspins, 360s and supermans. It’s what I wanted to do and I’m definitely going to be back next year.”
Nogueira was equally impressive, delivering a clean run packed with big airs to score 86.50.
“I’m so stoked that I won. I’ve put in a lot of work, it was such a technical course so I’m really happy with the result,” Nogueira says.
“I’ve loved the course and loved New Zealand. This is the first Natural Selection Bike. It’s going to be huge in the future and I’m so happy to have been a part of it.”
In the men’s comp, Carson Storch (USA) finished runner-up with a combined score of 85.88, followed by Louis Reboul (FRA) in third with 80.38.
In the women’s division, Hannah Bergemann (USA) placed second with a score of 79.75, while Kirsten Van Horne (CAN) took third with 78.50.
Adolf Silva (ESP) claimed the Best Trick Award with a massive superman, while Finley Kirschenmann (USA), who qualified for the finals through last week’s Dream Ticket event, earned the Best Style Award for his beautifully executed runs.
Janelle Soukup (USA) and Carson Storch (USA) were co-recipients of the Spirit Award, recognised for their energy and passion throughout the event.
Kawarau Gorge Trail on the home stretch
Construction of the 32km Kawarau Gorge Trail, which links Bannockburn to the Gibbston Valley, has officially passed the halfway mark.
The trail is a pivotal component of a gamechanging project that connects the four Great Rides in the Otago region, creating a 530km of continuous trail network across Queenstown, Central Otago and connecting through to Waihola near Dunedin.
It’s being built by the Southern Lakes Trails Trust, with funding from Central Lakes Trust, Otago Community Trust and Central Government (MBIE).
Over the past year the contractors have been working in hard-to-access areas, which, at times, has been very challenging, but the project is still on track to open by the end of 2025.
“This year two suspension bridges will be built over the Kawarau River at the Nevis Ferry and Citroen Rapids locations, which are either side of the Nevis River,” Southern Lakes Trails Trust Chairman Aaron Halstead says.
“Two bluff bridges will also be constructed to link the landlocked formed trail sections together.”
NZ Transport Agency/Waka Kotahi is creating the trail around the Nevis Bluff and making good progress on that section of the track, linking into Gibbston Valley.
“As trustees we are excited about trail progress, and we are sure the biking community are keen to ride the newest trail in the region,” Halstead says. “However, we urge biking enthusiasts to wait until the official opening of the trail, as there are significant hazards during the construction phase. The landowners who have given us permission to build the trail over their land don’t need unauthorised people on their land until all construction has been finished.”

CRIMELINE
by Sue Fea
Local parents are being urged to know where their kids are in the wee small hours with teens as young as 13 and 14 causing havoc and breaking into vehicles in Shotover Country and Hanley’s Farm this past week.
Police alcohol harm prevention officer Sergeant Simon Matheson says parents need to be aware of their kids’ movements and activities at all hours after three incidents with youths within four days.
Around midnight last Wednesday, 5 February, three young people forced entry into a Go Bus parked outside Shotover Primary School in the ‘Kiss and Drop’ zone. Once inside they allegedly emptied the on-board fire extinguisher throughout the bus, Matheson says.
They then allegedly used the fire extinguisher to break two large glass windows at the school.
“Senseless damage to property costs time and energy that neither education providers nor private businesses have,” he says.
Then at 12.30am on Waitangi Day, Thursday, 6 February, a male resident in Ashenhurst Way in Shotover Country heard something and looked out his window to see a youth in his vehicle parked on the street.
Matheson says the man went outside and noticed other young people gathered on the street, chasing them all away.
“The victim got in his car and found them a couple of streets away where he noticed they’d dropped a bag containing alcohol.”
Two vehicles were also damaged and one broken into on Forage Road at Hanley’s Farm on Sunday, 9 February. One vehicle was entered, and the ignition was damaged as the offenders tried to start it. Matheson says two young people are allegedly responsible. One has been spoken to by Police and the other will soon be spoken to.
“We know who it is. They’re definitely youths. We have footage.” Matheson says. “These kids are definitely under 15. These are often school nightsTuesdays and Wednesdays. They shouldn’t be there. Their parents should know where they are.”
Police would like to hear from anyone who sees this sort of suspicious behaviour, especially at night. “Be aware and if you see things like this on the street please call the Police,” Matheson says. “
He’s warning these young perpetrators they will be held accountable. Young offenders are dealt with through the Police Youth Process, made aware of the consequences of their actions and made to help pay for damage, or volunteer maintaining local tracks or cleaning up rubbish.
Lock up vehicles in walking track car parks
Police are urging those hiking local tracks around the basin and the Central Otago region not to leave valuables in their vehicles, especially at remote car parks, after firstly four wheels, then a vehicle, were stolen from Lake Face Creek car park off Glenorchy Road overnight on 30 January.
A man parked his 2004, gold-grey Subaru Outback at the car park while he spent the night on Pigeon Island, returning the next day (31 January) to find all four wheels had been stolen.
Matheson says the man then spoke with his insurance company and over the next few days the car body also mysteriously disappeared. “Sometime over those few days someone has stolen the vehicle and it’s still missing,” Matheson says.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have spotted the vehicle or seen anything suspicious going on around that car park area.
“It’s a timely reminder with nearby tracks like Mount Crichton and Sam Summers Hut popular at this time of year,” he says. “These offenders will often break a window in each vehicle until they find something so don’t leave stuff in your car, or leave it out of view. Just be aware when leaving vehicles and property at remote locations where it’s difficult to ensure their security.”

Historic silver medal for Robinson
Queenstown’s Alice Robinson has made history by winning New Zealand’s first-ever FIS Alpine Ski Racing World Championships medal, with a silver in Giant Slalom.
The 23-year-old was thrilled with her performance. “It’s amazing, my first World Champs medal, it’s so special …I just really wanted to go for it today, I just tried to treat today like any other race and I am really happy to have executed.”
Robinson entered today’s World Championships as one of the favourites, off the back of a victory at the last Giant Slalom World Cup race in Kronplatz and as the current leader of the Giant Slalom World Cup standings for the 2025 season.
But Italy’s Federica Brignone took advantage of the variable, spring-like snow conditions, which she excels in, to take gold, marking the first time an Italian woman has won the Giant Slalom World Championships in 28 years.
Robinson finished in second, claiming both her own and New Zealand’s firstever Alpine Ski World Championships medal with the USA’s Paula Moltzan rounding out the podium in third, claiming her first-ever individual Alpine World Championships medal.
Robinson’s previous best FIS Alpine World Championships result was a fourth place finish at the 2021 World Championships in Italy. New Zealand’s previous best results were fourth place finishes from both Robinson in 2021 and Claudia Riegler in slalom at the 1996 World Championships held in Spain.
Richie leads ambassador line up at NZ Open
Former All Black captain Richie McCaw is one of the sporting greats taking on the New Zealand Open Pro-Am later this month.
McCaw is joined by cricket legends Stephen Fleming and Ricky Ponting, rugby icon Israel Dagg, ‘Double All Black’ Jeff Wilson, as well as motorsport star Hayden Paddon and basketball standout Tom Abercrombie.
The NZ Open, held from 27 February to 2 March at Arrowtown’s Millbrook Resort, will feature professional golfers playing alongside amateurs - the only national Open in the world to be played in a pro-am format.
Two-time Rugby World Cup champion Richie McCaw, widely regarded as one of the finest rugby players of all time, loves his golf and is looking forward to being part of the NZ Open’s rich sporting history.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the New Zealand Open,” McCaw says. “Golf has always been a sport I love, and to be able to play alongside the professionals as they duke it out for our national title is really exciting.
“While my heart lies in rugby, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for golf and I’m looking forward to supporting this incredible tournament.”
Former World No. 1 tennis player and Grand Slam champion Ash Barty is also attending as non-playing ambassador.

In the pro field, Danny Lee is set to make a highly-anticipated return to the NZ Open after years competing on the global stage.

Good Bitches Baking
Good Bitches Baking’s (GBB) Queenstown-Central Otago chapter is one of 30 chapters around Aotearoa New Zealand made up of volunteers who love a bit of home-baking. The chapter’s Baking it Better programme has 101 volunteers on the roster, spread across Queenstown, Arrowtown, Frankton, Alexandra, Clyde, Wānaka and Cromwell, all baking treats for delivery to 24 organisations that support people having some kind of tough time.
Head Bitch Viv Madsen-Ries has been looking after the chapter since 2023, and says: “It’s such a great organisation to be involved with - it’s so simple. The idea behind it is that everyone deserves treats, with no judgement, and we’re so lucky to be supporting such an incredible group of organisations in our area.”
The organisations include:
•Able Minds
•Age Concern Central Otago
•Alexandra Parents Centre
•Alzheimer’s Otago (Home Share Group)
• Alzheimer’s Society Otago Queenstown and Wānaka

•Remarkable Mums
•The Good Life Group
Since the chapter was established in June 2016, GBB volunteers have baked 2,574 boxes of treats, each of which has enough baking to share with 10-20 people - that’s a lot of moments of kindness!
As well as the day-to-day Baking it Better programme, GBB has been piloting community programmes including Prison Bake, Sweet As Hapori (4-6 volunteer-led programmes teaching practical baking skills and intangible lessons about kindness to self and to others), Business Bitching for our corporate friends and Collaborative Bitching for community organisations who would like to enable their service users to be part of the kaupapa. While these aren’t established in this chapter yet, Viv is keen to talk to anyone who might like to know more.
The Queenstown-Central Otago chapter is always on the lookout for more volunteers, and more recipient organisations as well. Viv says: “If you’re keen, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”

Global Groovers
by Jessica Allen
Mundi Trio are heading to town this week, bringing with them a blend of Brazilian and African drums, an array of flutes and voice, dancing, electric guitar and bass. The group are touring as part of Arts on Tour NZ, who bring outstanding Kiwi performers to rural and smaller centres around New Zealand.
The Christchurch-based band will be transporting the audience through their joyful music to ancient times and places where the beat of the drum and haunting flute rang out across a star-studded sky. Their music makes people want to get up, dance and move along to their sweet sounds.
“The music is joyful, groovy, with lots of beautiful melodies, lots of different instrumentation, lots of different woodwind we play and different drums –sort of Brazilian Afro drums, and guitar and flute – and I sing,” Smith, one of the members says. “It’s a wide range of different styles that have infused into original compositions. It’s quite unique, activating and I think there’s something in there for everybody.”
The trio comprises Brazilian percussionist Ricardo Stuani, guitarist and dancer Chris Dabinett and flautist, vocalist, percussionist, dancer and composer Tamara Smith. Smith has travelled the world compiling inspiration for her compositions along the way. Her adventures include performing in jazz clubs in Paris, recording an album in Sri Lanka and learning traditional Indian flute by the Ganges. She’s the driving force behind the band with her compositions and loves bringing joy to audiences around Aotearoa.
“I was living in Paris and there was this band called Mundi, which was some friends of mine, and they were just playing around Christchurch. They were playing flamenco music and well-known flamenco songs, and different world music, and my friend invited me – he said ‘when you get back from France, come and join this group’. I’d been writing a lot of music in France and we ended up getting together and touring in Sri Lanka.”
It was on this tour that the band’s first album was recorded, mainly in Columbo. Over the years different people came and went with their travels, but Smith found it a beautiful vehicle for exploring her own compositional skills. She says she likes what they have morphed into now – they’ve been distilled down and despite being a trio, “We can really cover quite a lot. I love it.”
While interaction is encouraged at the live shows, it’s not compulsory, and audiences react differently. Sometimes they dance, other times they clap and sing along, but there aren’t any rules and “no pressure ... it’s have a great night”. Smith has been teaching dance for 10 years and loves the way dancing and music is intertwined, so she incorporates choreography into their performance. You can sit or stand and move along as much or as little as you’d like. Children are also welcome at the event – Smith reminisces on going to shows as a child being a really beautiful thing.
“I always thing back to me being a wee girl in a rural community and how special it was to be exposed to music and how that changed my life, and I think many other people had that experience too. A small thing like coming to a concert can be a great change and we can all be here together in a community for an evening.”
In this tour the Mundi Trio will perform a new series of compositions that weave together the two oldest instruments in human history into a sizzling array of duelling Brazilian/African percussion with hypnotic guitar and vocal melodies. It will also interlace stories through music of our interaction with nature and ourselves.
“The flutes and the drums are the oldest instruments we have, and these are the instruments, I think, that still connect people to this day – as people are constantly tapping their feet. I think there will be something in there for everybody, so don’t be shy because it’ll be really fun and a really beautiful evening.”
The tour is coming to our region as part of Arts on Tour NZ, a trust that receives funding from Creative New Zealand as well as support from a range of different trusts and charities. They liaise with local arts councils to bring the best of musical and theatrical talent to country districts and Mundi Trio are very excited to be a part of it.
“There’s a discovery there of a whole blend of sounds that may be really unique, and it’s uplifting music,” Smith says.
Mundi Trio will perform at Arrowtown Athenaeum Hall this Thursday, 20 February, as well as in Roxburgh on 21 February and Cromwell on 22 February. For more information you can head to aotnz.co.nz

Food & Mood: How what you eat shapes your mental wellbeing
by Katherine Froggatt
We all know that food fuels our body, but did you know it also fuels your mood, focus, and stress levels? The connection between what we eat and how we feel is undeniable. Yet, when life gets stressful, we often reach for the very foods that sabotage our mental wellbeing.
Why you should start noticing the Food-Mood connection:
1. Your gut is your second brain – The gut produces 90% of the body’s serotonin, the feel-good neurotransmitter. Processed foods, sugar, and alcohol disrupt this delicate balance, leading to mood swings, anxiety, and fatigue.
2. Blood sugar spikes = emotional rollercoaster – High-carb, sugary foods cause a surge in blood sugar, followed by a crash that triggers irritability, brain fog, and cravings, making you feel even worse than before.
3. Stress drives cravings for comfort foods – When we’re overwhelmed, our brain craves quick energy (aka sugar, re ned carbs, and alcohol). But these foods spike cortisol (the stress hormone), making us feel more anxious and exhausted in the long run.
The three worst offenders for your nervous system
• Sugar – Excess sugar fuels in ammation and leads to mood swings, anxiety, and even depression.
• Re ned Carbs – White bread, pastries, and pasta cause rapid blood sugar crashes, leaving you feeling sluggish and mentally drained.
• Alcohol – While it may feel relaxing at rst, alcohol disrupts sleep, dehydrates the brain, and increases anxiety the next day.
A five-minute strategy to break the cycle
Box Breathing (Do this two-three times a day, especially at work!)
1.Inhale through your nose for four seconds
2.Hold your breath for four seconds
3.Exhale slowly for four seconds
4.Hold your breath for four seconds
(Repeat three- ve times)
This activates your parasympathetic nervous system, bringing you from stressed to calm in minutes.

My Life Story
by Sue Fea
DAVID BRADFORD
From ‘heavy hair’ to Queenstown mayor
One of the country’s most successful young hairstylists, David Bradford failed two attempts at School Cert but went on to become New Zealand’s fi rst timeshare innovator and Mayor of the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
Born in Christchurch in 1944, the son of well-known big band jazz musician Bob Bradford and younger brother of former senior Cabinet Minister Max Bradford, David always had an eye for opportunity.
A self-confessed ‘naughty boy and nuisance’ at Christchurch Boys’ High he was the fi rst new entrant to be caned for a smart mouthed quip during compulsory military training.
Bored, he left school at 17, by 19 owned his fi rst business, and by 22 employed 20 staff.
“I’d worked as a bank junior and saw a guy who was a ladies’ hairdresser walk into a lunch bar with two pretty girls,” he recalls. “I had no idea guys could do that and thought it would get me girlfriends.” After training at International College of Hairdressing night courses, he was selected as an assistant to an imported famous Swiss stylist at ritzy department store Beath’s.
At 18 David was winning top national hairdressing competitions and opened his fi rst hair salon in Armagh Street on minimal ‘400 quid’ borrowings from his parents.
He then opened a Lichfi eld St ground fl oor salon with fashion legend Paula Ryan starting a modelling school upstairs soon after. David then launched his own college on the third fl oor, training more than 1000 kids on sixmonth courses over 20 years.
By age 25 David employed 40 staff. It was here he learned business skills fast. He opened the fi rst ‘Heavy Hair’ shop in the early 70s. “We were fi rst in NZ doing the fi rst Vidal Sassoon style cut and blow waves.”
He then opened salons in Wellington, Auckland and Queenstown’s newly opened Wakatipu Trading Post in the mid-70s, having already discovered Coronet Peak skiing holidays in his Ford Escort in the late 60s.
In the late 70s David bought Queenstown’s fi rst townhouses at Turner Heights on Queenstown Hill with plans to launch NZ’s fi rst timeshare resort after witnessing the concept when travelling overseas.
Not long before in Christchurch he’d met an attractive young Sri Lankanborn Air NZ international stewardess heading to London to study interiors at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design. “I needed a townhouse designer so fl ew that lovely girl Wendy, that I’d met, back from London.” They moved to Queenstown in 1980 and married in 1981. Turner Heights was hard grind, and David employed some “creative marketing”, selling timeshares for anything from $100 a week low season to $325 peak ski season. Within 10 years he was selling quarter shares (three months a year) in completely renovated townhouses using the new fractional ownership concept.
Gradually David sold his hairdressing businesses, but eldest son Stuart, from his fi rst marriage, opened Loose Ends in Queenstown.
Wendy and David dabbled in fashion retail launching Jailhouse Leathers in the new O’Connell’s Pavilion, for which David became leasing manager, Wendy also a Jazzercise instructor and ski hostess.
Keen to get change happening, he won a seat on the former Lake County Council in a byelection, defi nitely seen as the odd one out – a “city slicker and cheeky bugger” around a table of long-time local farmers.
Asked to head up the then Queenstown Promotion Bureau (now DQ), David tried and failed to extract local promotional funding from the Lake County, Queenstown and Arrowtown Borough Councils to market the town. “I think the three councils gave us about $1250 a year!”
He wanted to change the world so when Mayor Jim Grant stepped down David stepped up, later narrowly losing to former Mayor Sir John Davies twice before fi nally winning in 1989.
He also ran Southern Tourism, a research consultancy and after six years as mayor the family moved to Wellington for the three kids’ schooling.
David managed a land development company for Queenstown developer Howard Paterson and business partners from Christchurch and Wellington. “They bought 125ha of residentially zoned land at Whitby in Porirua.”
Three years later David bought the company, developing 500 residential sections over 15 years.
He’s pretty chuffed to have founded Whitby Independent College too – the fi rst independent (private) co-educational secondary school developed in the Wellington region in almost 100 years, which he sold to top NZ school, Samuel Marsden Collegiate in 2008.
Whitby now has a population of about 12,000 to 15,000 residents and David continues to work in commercial and residential real estate at 81.
Golf, year-round tennis and ski trips to Queenstown keep the body active, but David’s still working 30 hours a week. “I will never stop working. I have to keep my brain active.”
