In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Lakeside Asian-Pacific Students (LAPS) partnered with art & literary magazine Imago to produce a special May issue. Included are four stories about heritage and family, each written, illustrated, and colored by different LAPS members.
We hope the special issue brings light to our experiences as Asian American students growing up in Seattle. Featuring the work of over 20 Lakeside student artists, this work is a celebration of our identities and the multitude of ways we express ourselves — in food and familiar places, history and holidays.
