I knew I wanted something in person, and a place where I could become part of a community and make new friends. For me, Lakeshore offered those things.

Mackenzie wanted to forge her own path and save thousands on her way to a bachelor’s degree.
Lakeshore has helped me realize that it is okay to be different and it is okay to choose your own path, even if those around you are all choosing a different path.

Emily was bored at her high school in Indiana. She loves cows and prefers hands-on learning, so talked with her dad, a 1984 Lakeshore graduate, and decided to follow in his path—including an internship at the same farm.
The variety that Saxon has and being outdoors is awesome. Also, the work environment is great, everyone looks out for everyone and works together, because Dairy farming isn’t easy but having a good team makes it a lot easier.
