CLUB UPDATE Dear Members, January was a great and exciting kickoff to 2024 for Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, with the HGV Tournament of Champions being the highlight of the month. Members, residents, and guests had a great time following and cheering on the LPGA Tour’s top players alongside celebrities from sports, music and entertainment- several of which, are Members of Lake Nona and our sister club, Isleworth. In truly exciting fashion, Lake Nona’s Lydia Ko captured the 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions LPGA title - her 20th LPGA title and the first tournament win by a Lake Nona Member! In the celebrity division, first year participant Jeff McNeil captured the celebrity title, narrowly edging out Lake Nona’s Annika Sorenstam who held the lead for two days and ultimately finished second. The fully-hosted Member Hospitality Chalet on Hole 8, which was operated by the Club this year, remained very popular throughout the tournament and everyone enjoyed the food, service, and the camaraderie. The Club, community and golf course all showcased beautifully under the global spotlight. Thank you to all our Members and residents for their patience and understanding in the weeks leading up to and after the event. Also, a special thank you to the entire Lake Nona team for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork in organizing and executing this outstanding event - your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

In other Club news, last month we debuted new menus in both Fairways and the Main Dining Room featuring variations of select Club favorites along with several new dishes showcasing locally sourced produce, meats and seafood, which have been well received with positive feedback from the membership, while the featured and monthly dining events were popular and well-attended last month. Nona Crew maintained a very active calendar of events with all-new, expanded Crewhouse hours, holiday camp, fun fridays and parents' night out themed activities providing entertainment for our youngest members. Bath & Racquet offered engaging fitness, wellness, and racquet activities, along with new group classes (Cardio Blast, Stroller Fitness, Outdoor Group Cycle Classes). In golf, we also rounded out the month of January with two new events, a Men’s Stag and the Couples' Club Championship. Both events were will received and will remain on the golf calendar going forward. It is peak golf season here at Lake Nona and the golf course and grounds could not be in better condition for a busy month of Club tournaments ahead, while the events calendar is packed full of holiday, family, junior, and wellness activities. I encourage you to join us for the following upcoming events and programming: • Groundhog Day Family Night (February 2)

• Super Bowl Celebration (February 11)

• NEW! Farmer's Market (February 3 & 17)

• Valentine's Dinner (February 14)

• 2024 Club Championship (February 9-11)

• Men's Member-Member (February 23 & 24)

• Tween & Teen Survivor Night (February 10)

• Totally 90's Throwback (February 24)

Your feedback is always welcomed and encouraged, thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you at the Club. Sincerely,

Brian Pizzimenti, CCM General Manager

GOLF NEWS Last month, the LPGA’s finest returned to Lake Nona for another season-opening showstopper, with the golf course being the star! After a fantastic week of golf at this year's HGV Tournament of Champions, it was fantastic to watch Lake Nona’s very own Lydia Ko capture the win at home. Leona Maguire and Nasa Hataoka were our also home favorites in the LPGA division, each finished 12th and 22nd respectively. In the celebrity competition, Charles Woodson & Annika Sorenstam were ever-popular with huge home support, with Annika lighting up the leaderboard with a sparkling 4-under 68 on Thursday, holding the lead for two days, and ultimately finishing second on Sunday. The course was heralded by the players and media alike, a fervent reminder of how pristine the course conditions are on a year-round basis. I hope you were able to enjoy the Member hospitality chalet, as our food and beverage team did a great job hosting it this year! Kudos to all on another memorable and successful LPGA tournament. January introduced two new events to the golf calendar - the Couples' Club Championship and the Men's Stag. Aptly nicknamed "the Divorce Open" our inaugural Couples' Club Championship welcomed 14 couples battling it out in a fun format of better ball and alternate shot. Congratulations to our Net Champions Pam & Kevin Collins, and Gross Champions Laura & David Newinski. The inaugural Men’s Stag was a huge success with full field in its debut! Congratulations to Gross

COURSE NEWS After navigating another highly successful HGV Tournament of Champions, our team focus shifts toward rejuvenating and cultivating the pristine course conditions further in order for the course to perform at its highest level for our upcoming Member tournaments. This winter has presented a few challenges with scarcity of sunlight and excess moisture, both of which pose significant threats to turf health. Maintaining a delicate balance of water and air in the soil is our paramount concern. Our proactive approach will be to venting greens regularly to facilitate air and water movement, along with the frequent use of the Subair system. Additionally, we are taking steps to enhance the aesthetics of the golf course by gradually removing ropes. Having utilized entry and exit posts for the past few months, our objective has shifted to a cleaner and more open appearance. Cart traffic management will play a crucial role and we will assess and adjust rope placement based on cart traffic patterns. The success of this initiative relies on everyone's adherence to cart etiquette, therefore, please take a moment to review the reminders on the opposite page.

NICHOL AS DOLIMPIO n d ol i m p io @la ke n o n a.com 407. 209.12 81

A few important reminders in preserving overall turf health:

• • •

Please be mindful to drive on the greenest grass, as we work diligently to restore areas impacted by the HGV Tournament of Champions spectator traffic. Avoid driving over damaged spots around the course in order for them to recover as quick as possible. As always, kindly repair ball marks on greens and fill divots in fairways. The golf course maintenance team diligently tends to tee divots every morning. Given the slower-than-normal recovery due to reduced sunlight, your collective efforts are instrumental in preserving Lake Nona's pristine condition.
