STUDENT-LED LEARNING IS A FOUNDATIONAL ASPECT OF A LAKELAND COLLEGE EDUCATION. WE PUT OUR STUDENTS IN REAL-WORLD SCENARIOS, CHALLENGING THEM TO GO BEYOND THE CLASSROOM AND ALONG THE WAY, THEY DEVELOP ESSENTIAL SKILLS NEEDED TO THRIVE AFTER GRADUATION.
Your support of Feast on the Farm directly impacts the education they receive by creating experiences where students learn, lead and manage. With the assistance of faculty, students conceptualize their project, work out the logistics, and implement their plans. From building natural playscapes to upgrading farm infrastructure, funds raised at Feast on the Farm allow our students to put their learning into action and leave a legacy that the next generation of students will benefit from and continue to build on.
Held in a beautiful setting outdoors at our Research Centre, Feast on the Farm is a oneof-a-kind opportunity to connect with industry leaders, community members, alumni and friends of the college while raising money to support Lakeland’s distinct education model.
