Four Laker Teams Punch Tickets to Nationals in Historic Season
LAKE LAND COLLEGE ATHLETICS IS ON FIRE!

In a thrilling 2024–2025 season, four Laker teams earned national tournament berths, showcasing elite talent, relentless drive and Laker pride on the biggest stages in community college sports.
Baseball
In a historic season, the baseball team finished fourth in the NJCAA DI World Series, making its first appearance at nationals since 1988. The team clinched the Region XXIV title and finished the season with a 45-21 record.
Women’s Basketball

Softball
The powerhouse squad went 45-20, winning Region XXIV and Central District titles to earn a spot in the NJCAA DI World Series.
Clay Target Shooting

The Lakers stormed to a 28-9 record and placed sixth at the NJCAA DII Championship in Missouri.
Highlights


The team placed first in its conference in the spring and was National Trap Shooting Runner-Up in the fall, with Jaxon Wilson crowned National Individual Champion.

Men’s Basketball Reached Region XXIV semifinals; Third in Division I Region 24 standings; Samuel Hincapie named GRAC Player of the Year.
Volleyball Won the GRAC Conference Championship and finished 26-7 and 17-1 in conference play; First in Conference standings and second in Region XXIV standings.

Livestock Judging Champion
team at Dixie Nationals; Reserve Champion team at the Cattleman’s Congress, the Tulsa State Fair, the Arkansas Youth Expo and the Top Notch Swine Contest.
