More than just a magazine... Just a note to say thanks again for the kind and compassionate words from the crew at Lakeland Boating. You published a picture of our dog Scruffy last spring and sent us a wonderful letter having heard he had passed away. Lakeland Boating is so much more than just a magazine. You are all our Great Lakes users' family, bringing us the best boating publication there is, hands down. It was a quiet summer without Scruffy, but he is truly remembered in our hearts and, thanks to you, in print in our most favorite boating publication. Skye & Tucker We have always had our dogs with us while boating, first as sailors and now as power boaters. We have had golden retrievers, a border collie, an Aussie, and now a pointer and a pointer mix, both rescues. Skye and Tucker are great together and great crew on our boat in Michigan. They nap a lot together but Tucker also loves to jump in the lake off the swim platform and can even climb back up the ladder by himself.
