The House!

If you are coming to us by airplane, you will fly into Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Rental cars are available as well as Uber and Lyft.

All roads lead to Highway 77. Wherever you are coming from you will end up on 77.

We are Exit 33. You'll head North on Williamson Rd. Go half a mile and turn left onto Ponderosa. We are just over a half mile down the road on the right.

Watch for our Lighthouse Mailbox at the street.

It is about a half hour drive to get to the house. Take a look at the driving directions listed to the right.

Once you turn onto Ponderosa Circle, you'll drive just over a half mile and see us on the right. We are the big triangle house sitting right at the Water's Edge.

CHECK IN &

Check out

CHECK-IN TIME Check-In Time is 4pm. On occasion, depending on the particular day, we can offer early check-in and/or late checkout. We cannot guarantee either of these until a day or two prior to arrival and/or departure. We take our house cleaning, sanitizing and preparations for each guest very seriously and we may not have the additional time available.

PROPERTY ACCESS We provide keyless access to the home. Your access code will be sent to you the day before your arrival via email and text. To unlock the front door, simply enter your code and the deadbolt will unlock. To lock the door, touch the picture of the lock in the lower right corner of the keypad.

PARKING AND BOAT LAUNCH RAMP There is ample parking for vehicles in the driveway.

If you are bringing your boat, make a U-turn on the front lawn if your vehicle is facing the lake or back down the driveway from the top if you prefer. Back your trailer up alongside the big tree into the backyard and right down the ramp into the water. Park your trailer right in the driveway. Please be careful on the grass as it can be easily torn up by spinning tires. We appreciate you using care as you drive on the lawn.

CHECK-OUT TIME AND PROCESS Checkout time is 10am. The checkout process is very simple.

The specifics are listed later in this guide. The most important thing is that you remember all of your belongings. We'll remind you to check the drawers, under the bed and in the safe. Also remember to grab your phone chargers and cables!

There is no smoking allowed on the property. Any smoking detected by damage or scent will result in penalties for neutralization cleaning of the house.

Guest agrees to leave the property as they found it.

Furniture will be left where it was found and the property will be left clean and free of debris.

Guest agrees to fully comply with all local laws. Guest also agrees to not disturb neighbors with loud sounds, music or aggressive behavior at any time.

All trash and recycling should be placed in the cans behind garage. Glass goes in garbage. Do not put any trash, shampoos or chemicals in the lake or yard.

This house is serviced by a Septic System. Please put only toilet paper in the toilet. Feminine products should NEVER be put in toilet. ONLY toilet paper.

06

The violation of any house rules may result in immediate expulsion of Guest. Removal and expulsion of guest will result in loss of guest's rental payment.

THERMOSTATS

TRASH & RECYCLING

There is one thermostat in the house. Also, please feel free to open the vents upstairs to allow cool air in and shut them to keep the heat out. And you're always welcome to open the windows to enjoy the cool lake breeze.

Trash (black) and recycling (blue) are located out the back slider to the left on the side of the house. Mooresville only recycles paper and plastic, glass goes in the trash. Our maintenance crew will come on Mondays to take the cans to the street and then return them Tuesday.

TELEVISION

WASHER & DRYER

Both TV's are equipped with Roku sticks. All Rokus are set on Guest Mode allowing you to use your own logins and have them automatically expire at checkout. The Living Room TV also has Atari with all of your favorite old school games.

There is a washer and dryer on the first level. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided. Please remember to clean the lint filter after each dryer load. A collapsible laundry basket, iron and ironing board are also there for your use.

COFFEE MAKER

GRILL

We have provided a Keurig pod machine as well as a standard coffee pot. A selection of pods, teas, sugar, artificial sweeteners and creamers are provided. Grab coffee to go at "Clutch" down the street. Also nearby are Dunkin and Starbucks.

Feel free to use the grill on the patio.

A spare tank is right next to it. Please let us know if you switch out the tank.

Please remember to turn off the gas when you are done grilling. We ask that you brush the grill after use. It is greatly appreciated!

PETS

The cushions for the patio table and furniture are in the deck box out the back slider to the right. We prefer to keep them clean and dry until you choose to use them. The complimentary firewood is located just beyond the firepit.

Pets are always welcome! Bowls and waste bags are provided in the pantry.

Please be sure to clean up after your pets. There's nothing worse than stepping in someone else's pet's mess!

A pooper scooper is also provided by the garbage cans.

FIREPLACE

All of the kayaks and SUPs are for guest use. Life vests are located in the shed out the back slider to the right.. around the side of the house. In the shed you'll also find lake floats, lawn games and fishing equipment.

The remote is to the left of the mantle.

TO TURN ON: Press OFF and the large flame until you hear a short beep.

MANUAL FLAME ADJUSTMENT: Press the large flame to increase. Press the small flame to decrease.

SECURITY

LANDSCAPERS

The house is equipped with a keypad lock on the front door. Please lock the house when leaving for longer durations. The slider should be locked when no one is home. There is a security camera at the front of the home and one looking at the dock.

Our landscapers tend to the property once a week. Their visits are not long but they are needed to keep the yards in top notch condition for your stay.

A pack and play and high chair are available upon request. At the top of the stairs there is a baby gate that can be used to close off the 2nd floor.

Twist the lock/unlock knob as you pull it closed and attach it to the far side of the opening. To open the gate simply reverse the instructions. .

Board games, Jenga, Backgammon, Chess to name a few.. are located under the TV. We are careful to make sure they have all of their pieces. If you find one incomplete, please let us know! Check out the old-school Atari.

Pitfall and Pong are not as easy as they used to be!

The house is stocked with household supplies including: linens, bath towels, lake towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Basic cleaning supplies are either under the sink, in the pantry or in Laundry Area. Vacuum, broom, swiffer, dustpan, trash bags, all-purpose cleaners, sponge. Please use these to help keep the house neat during your stay.

BED LINENS & TOWELS Please leave all linens on the beds and leave the beds unmade. In addition, please leave all used towels on the floor in the bathroom. If the sofa bed was used, please leave it open and unmade.

WINDOWS, DOORS & LIGHTS When you leave, please ensure all exterior windows and doors are closed and securely locked. In addition, please turn off lights, fans and televisions.

KITCHEN Please empty the refrigerator and freezer of all of the items you brought with you. Load the dishwasher will all of the dirty dishes, throw in a dishwasher pod and start the dishwasher. This helps us tremendously,

PERSONAL ITEMS Before you leave, please check each room, closet, and drawer to ensure that no personal items have been left behind. Grab all of your chargers and cables too.

FINAL ITEMS We ask that you take out any full trash bags to the bins on the side of the house. Leave water toys and outdoor games on the racks or in the shed where they are found. Return any indoor / outdoor furniture to their original spots. And please remember to clean up after your pet before you depart.
