A little girl is seen being combed by her mother. A shot of their backs are on screen before the mother spoke to her daughter;

ATRIZ
You're going to ask me bakit ngayon lang ako nag agree magpa-interview 'no?
Both Lana and Atriz shares a laugh before Atriz finally answers the question.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)

What I can say really is that I'm glad I sent out a lot of paintings on art exhibits because if it was not for those exhibits, I would not be discovered by my mentor.
LANA
she bugged the curator to contact me kasi daw she saw a lot of potential, kala ko pa nga nu'ng una scam!
LANA
That's so... wow.
ATRIZ
I trained under her after that, she took me under her wing, and eight years later, I'm going to be texting her tonight, thanking her again, but now as an Art Icon of Arte Museum. (laughs)
Atriz takes a deep breath and stares above before answering.
ATRIZ

ATRIZ (CONT'D)
I can say my first, obra maestra, was actually the first painting I had ever finished (laughs)
Lana gave Atriz a smirk.
LANA
The screen shows both Lana and Atriz laughing it off.
LANA
Itago pa po talaga ah. (laughs)
ATRIZ
Let's call him Luis, kasi parang known siya sa name na 'yun.
A big 'LUIS' shows on screen. And then clips of Luis shows, in the point of view of 18-year-old Beatriz.
ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D)
Tisoy 'tong si Luis. Ang hirap niyang kalimutan. I mean, he's one of those agaw-pansin guys. Mapapadouble take ka talaga sa kanya, and
ATRIZ (V.O.)
Eventually nagpansinan kami, kasi hello-- lagi kaya kami nagkakasalubong kasi lagi kami late eh.
One of those tardy times, Bea was seen as if praying, looking up to something above.
LUIS

This startled Bea because one; she thought she was alone, and two; the voice sounded attractive.
BEA
Put-- (censor sound) Ay sorry,
ATRIZ
Eventually, we started talking.
A montage of Bea and Luis establishing a bond by talking shows on screen.
ATRIZ (V.O.)
And talking...
More footage of the young students show as they grow closer to each other.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)

Lana just nods as she pays full attention.

Bea was so distracted the entire time of sharing a table with Kurt.
BEA (reading the content of the entry)

ATRIZ
Tapos may heart emoticon. (giggles) Ang ganda ko 'di ba. So chineck ko na if may comment, tapos ayun. Andun siya, saying na PM lang daw siya gano'n.
The screen comes back to Bea smiling while messaging Kurt.
Right after such a high in her pitch, Atriz calms down.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
Pero I guess matalino siya, nakapasa naman siyang engineer.
Atriz decided to spearhead the storytelling before Lana
could even ask further questions.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
Continue ko na story ko, kasi last guy from my first year is next. After nu'n, next school year naman. (laughs)
ko. (Ay, oo. Go lang. Matatapos naman din ako.)
LLOYD
Ay di magsaku, damo ka pa food o. (Hala 'wag ka magmadali, ang dami mo pang food o.)
BEA (chuckle) Di ko maubos (laughs)
LLOYD
Luh, du duwa palang ka kagat nang sud-an mo hu. (Luh, parang dalawang kagat palang 'yang ulam mo o.)
LLOYD

BEA
Ay, Bea. First year, Psych. LLOYD

LANA
Aweeeee. Kilig! So cute.
Atriz just laughs at Lana's reaction.
ATRIZ
Sweet sana siya eh, I mean he was the sweetest naman. Nagbangayan pa kami kasi sabi ko babayaran ko 'yung drink, eh si koya, ayaw!
BEA

ATRIZ
Eh di 'di na siya nakaangal. Nako teh, gabi na ako nakauwi pero ginanahan pa ko puminta.
Lana just reacts sadly.
ATRIZ
Alam ko 'yang mga terms kasi bonding din namin puro aral. May pa 'LDR can work' pa siyang nalalaman.
Atriz looks at the camera in a comical way before speaking.
ATRIZ
As for the whereabouts of that painting, I do not even know where it is. Nawala na parang bula. Like him. Baka nasa Canada (laughs).
Classmates kami for ArtApp (Art Appreciation), and naging pair kami sa isang seatwork. Parang discuss with your partner an art form you enjoy.
ARIES

As Aries attends the class with Bea, he looked more and more restless as the meetings went by. He seemed restless at all times, and this worried Bea big time.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
He did not give himself a rest. Parang he lived and breathed his extra curricular commitments to the point na nilalamon na siya ng lahat. Kung sa acads, wala siyang time, pa'no pa kaya if naging kami. Pero si tanga, confess pa rin eh.
'ZACH' on screen. A moreno that in face value, looks like a 'red flag' crush ng bayan.
ATRIZ (V.O.)
Pasabog si ante. Na-reject ng Pharma so nag Nursing. Boang.
Atriz walks the University Grounds and her subconsciousness notices a camera. Someone was taking a picture of the scenery as she was walking.
si ante-- shocking.
Bea browses the photos Zach uploaded. She came across Zach's past profile pictures, and in her head, she commented;
BEA Ay, player.
As she continues stalking his account, she realized that he was so skilled in photography. This inspired Bea to paint a scenery.
ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D) He was so attractive, too.
Zach is seen walking University Grounds holding a girl's

Bea pulls out a blank canvas. She seems uninspired.
ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D)

Lana, in shock, still processing the outcome of this story.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
Tapos ayun. Blocked na ako. Nacatfish si Inday. Hindi pala Kyle pangalan niya. Ferdie ba 'yun, oo, basta F.
LANA
I'm-- lost for words.
because a big name like Atriz provided them with home-cooked lunch. Production did not spend anything because Atriz prepared everything.
While eating lunch, Atriz sat with production to make small talks and bond with them. The people were at awe towards her down-to-earth nature.
ATRIZ
O 'di ba, lovergirl pala ako. Chick girl, ang daming boylet.
Production people laughs at this joke.
LANA
Baka sa babae ang happy ending!

Bea can be seen in her room, the university grounds, everywhere-- forming a bond with her phone again. But this time, she's not so immersed. She has boundaries.

He never gave me a reason to be jealous. He was so respectful to women. He updates me always. (MORE)
ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D)
Kasi he makes sure his female and queer classmates get home safe. THE ultimate green flag.

ATRIZ (CONT'D)
Bea cries as she reads AJ's last letter. The focus turns to one sentence.
'di ko gusto magkasubo ka love.' ('di ko gustong malungkot ka love.)
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
So I always smile, because it's what he wanted. He taught me love and patience. And ultimately, gave me the biggest pain.
Bea cries again as she looks at her nearly-done painting. A dark foreshadowing. A bleeding heart.

The room of seniors made some noises about this. One shouted an idea that they have to pair up with their crushes. Another joked that the twist was that there was no exhibit.
Bea just observes the meeting, casually checking her phone for the time from time to time.
PRES. JULS (CONT'D)

BEA

ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D)

Laughs of both Atriz and Lana can be heard off screen.
ATRIZ (V.O.) (CONT'D)
But this person inspired the painting so, so much.
Her partner continues to motivate her to continue painting.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)

This person reassured me that what I'm feeling was correct, ba.
Bea is shown fully immersed on her phone, chatting with her partner. Then she's seen staring at the nothingness, confused, wondering, and worried.
Mirroring the scene of AJ and his classmate, Bea walks with a girl, and she positions her away from the sidewalk, seemingly protecting her from the vehicles.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
The only thing that stopped me maybe, was the voices in my own head, na... maybe it's too soon?

Sadness can be traced on Little Bea's innocent face.
ATRIZ'S MOTHER
Girls are for boys lang. Not for girls too-- never for fellow girls, just the same as boys are not for boys. It's a sin, and those who like the fellow gender will go to hell.

Bea was a lola's girl. The mother of her father was a revered lawyer in their hometown. Her mom did not bother fighting her grandmother after that night, and since then, her mother only remarried, acting like her marriage with Bea's father did not happen.
Bea's lola went out with a bag containing some of her clothes, and she spoke so gently to little Bea;
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
It doesn't bother me a whole lot if men call me a slut 'coz what good do they know, right? But it hurts when a woman calls me a whore. I'm crucified for being with men? When nothing happened? (MORE)
ATRIZ (CONT'D)
I talked to some, yes, and the minute the red flags waved themselves, I gave them the boot.
Atriz let out an awkward chuckle.
ATRIZ (CONT'D)

Slow transitions from Lana to Atriz as it fades to black. The first masterpiece of Atriz is now revealed on screen with the title at the bottom.

Their dog is let out, and it immediately went straight for Lana. Atriz just laughs at the cuteness of their pet towards Lana.
