If you play an instrument or are eager to learn, Orchestra Club offers a wonderful opportunity to make music as part of a group. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced musician, you’ll develop your skills while playing a wide range of pieces—from classical to contemporary.

Members of the choir regularly perform at special events such as the Pensioners’ Party and the end-of-year shows, giving you exciting opportunities to showcase your talents and be part of memorable community celebrations. "‘Rockin’ Readers’ is a club for those who want to share their passion for reading with others. Reading is a wonderful hobby, which can transport your mind into a whole other reality. I came to Rockin’ Readers and felt the same ethereal sensation. However, the best thing about the club is that it ranges from so many different and diverse genres, making it something enjoyable for everyone and letting people explore new styles.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a life-changing experience – a chance to have fun with friends, discover new talents, and develop valuable life skills. It’s a recognised mark of achievement, respected by colleges, universities, and employers alike.
At Bronze level, you’ll complete four sections: volunteering to support your community or the environment, taking part in a physical activity to improve your fitness, learning a new skill, and planning, training for, and completing an adventurous expedition.
The DofE is open to all young people, regardless of background, gender, or ability. It’s not a competition – it’s about setting your own goals, rising to new challenges, and building confidence along the way.

It's okay to find maths challenging - a lot of people do! At 'Girls Enjoying Maths', we create a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can work with teachers and older students to help build your confidence in maths. We break down the learning and consider different approaches to maths questions to improve your problem-solving ability.
