What is La Habichuela? In some places it is a limabean, in others it is considered a pea; some people say it is just a plain bean or a stringbean and others say they honestly do not know. Well, we do not know either... Since 1977 we have heard hundreds of versions from different people around the world. For us —La Habichuela— is a sacred place of the Mayan world, dedicated to making each and every one of our guests live a wonderful magical evening. Our wish is to fully satisfy every person who walks through our door, so that —La Habichuela— will always remain as a pleasant memory, for which we spare no effort in delivering quality, making sure you receive nothing but the best along with our personal attention. We hope that you enjoy the atmosphere we have created inspired by the Mayan culture and the surroundings of our state. Please feel free to walk around. You will be surprised at the beauty of the interesting art we have collected throughout the years. We are open to all comments and suggestions, and if you should have your own interpretation of —La Habichuela— please let us know.
