Community Book Read on December 7

Different Voices: Be Part of the Conversation is a program encouraging the community to read Cristina Henriquez’s The Book of Unknown Americans, and participate in a community forum intended to give a voice to those not frequently heard in mainstream media and culture. By hosting the Different Voices forum, the Lafayette Public Library provides an opportunity for the entire community to read this immigration story, discuss issues, and analyze opinions. Books are available now to check out, and the December 7 forum will be held at 6:00pm at the Library. cityoflafayette.com/DifferentVoices
