WILSON LIGHTING

Brilliance from Beginning to End

ith four locations nationwide for Wilson Lighting, from Florida to Kansas, St. Louis is the most recent place it calls home. The familyowned company began in 1975, and with a curated selection of fine furnishings, it’s no wonder the lighting store has expanded successfully across America. “There are three fundamentals to our company: to have an extraordinary selection of product; exceptional service, from selection to delivery; and finally, to develop a long-term relationship with our clientele by providing fair and aggressive pricing,” says Brian Wilson, VP of Wilson Lighting. Fundamental to its success, the lighting store proves to be much more beyond its name. “Our core product offering is lighting, which encompasses chandeliers, bath lights, exterior lights, ceiling fans and more. But another huge part of our product offering is home décor and furnishings, from a framed-art gallery to occasional furniture items. When customers visit our showroom for the first time, they often comment that they had no idea that we offer such a wide range of products,” Wilson shares. The showroom stuns not only with its vast selection of goods, but also with the availability of each product seen. “Some of the challenges our industry

faces when dealing with manufactures is that items can be back-ordered or arrive damaged. Either way, the customer has to wait to be satisfied,” Wilson explains. Items might be back-ordered and cause delays in shipment or can even arrive damaged,” Wilson explains. “To remedy that, we believe in stocking the product we showcase.” Their product sourcing team scours the globe for its diverse offerings. “We literally travel the world to find the most unique and incredible selections, from European and domestic markets, as well as the Orient,” Wilson says. “For more than 40 years, we have been servicing homeowners, custom homebuilders and interior designers [with our distinctive selection of product].” Wilson Lighting’s customer service stays superior thanks to a long-lasting team of experts. “Many of our team members have 10 to 20 years’ experience in lighting and home furnishings,” Wilson relates. “As customers walk through the door, they are greeted by a wonderful selection of items, much of which, they will not see elsewhere.” We love satisfying each customer’s wish list and seeing their excitement upon finding a product that is perfect for their home.”
