The Villa Marina Arcade
The beautiful art deco style Villa Marina Arcade is home to one of the Isle of Man’s best kept secrets: the Mighty Wurlitzer organ. As we release this brochure with the arrival of spring, it feels like the perfect moment to look ahead to the rest of 2025, and with eight more pages added, it's clear that the venues are thriving with activity.
Change is a recurring theme in the buildings, at the time of writing, months of work has culminated in the delivery of Phase One and Two of the technical upgrade of the venues, with the Villa Marina's Royal Hall and Promenade Suite ready to stage performances with up-to-date equipment and acoustic adaptation. An Evening with Phil Kelsall and the Mighty Wurlitzer
VillaGaiety and the Friends of the Wurlitzer are proud to announce an evening with Phil Kelsall, playing the famous Wurlitzer organ in the picturesque setting of the Villa Marina Arcade. Blackpool Tower’s Ballroom is home to what must be the most famous and most played Wurlitzer in the world and Phil Kelsall has amazingly now completed over 50 years at the Tower, having been appointed in 1975, initially as organist in the Tower Circus band with occasional appearances in the Ballroom.
