WELCOME

Failt erriu (Welcome) to the second edition of the VillaGaiety brochure, and thank you to everyone who shared positive feedback on the introduction of this printed events guide since we launched it last year. As we release this brochure with the arrival of spring, it feels like the perfect moment to look ahead to the rest of 2025, and with eight more pages added, it's clear that the venues are thriving with activity.

Change is a recurring theme in the buildings, at the time of writing, months of work has culminated in the delivery of Phase One and Two of the technical upgrade of the venues, with the Villa Marina's Royal Hall and Promenade Suite ready to stage performances with up-to-date equipment and acoustic adaptation. Thanks goes to our new partners who are supporting the venues this year through their valued sponsorship. Our Corporate partners are Standard Bank, Heron & Brearley, MAC Group, Ramsey Crookall, Computer Network Defence, Greystone, Bushy’s, Capital International, Mann Benham, Canaccord Wealth and Expol. Our Community Partners are Isle of Man Steam Packet and Isle of Man Arts Council who also support the wider programme of events.

As for my selection of events from within these 48 pages – Tom Fletcher’s There’s A Monster In Your Show is set to engage the next generation of theatre lovers on Island; Sophie McCartney will strike a chord with all the multi-tasking parents out there; and returning following rave reviews and belly-hurting laughter is improvised murder mystery Murder She Didn’t Write. Whatever event you choose to attend, please enjoy your time in the venues and thank you for your ongoing support.

THANK YOU TO OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS
