THE PERFECT PICTURE
Here are a few tips to help you create a successful photo...
1 Set up a mood board and collect inspiration. The hair style ( cut/color/styling ), make–up, model, clothes styling and hair look are equally important.
2 Practice your look before-hand and try creating various styles.
3 If possible, ask a clothes stylist to support you.
4 If you need support, ask a make–up artist for consultation.
5 Clearly discuss the picture language/look concept with your photographer (if you are using one) and determine light and background before the shoot.
6 Allow enough time for the shoot. You will then have the possibility to take various pictures for you to select your final 4 entry photos from.

Get behind the chair and get creative, show us your favourite color creation. This look must be created using only L’ANZA color and ideally hair care and styling products.
RED CARPET GLAMOUR
Whatever the event, we want to see your best hair up look. This look must be created using only L’ANZA hair care and styling products.
ONE TO WATCH
For the aspiring L’ANZA Artisits of the future. This category is for entrants aged 25 and under. This look must be created using only L’ANZA products.
CURLS EXPERT
Are you an expert with curls? Show us your gorgeous, healthy curl looks. This look must be created using only L’ANZA hair care and styling products.

HOW TO ENTER
STEP 1
Scan for entry forms
Choose which category or categories you wish to enter.
STEP 2
Using a model of your choice, create your look
Judging is based on the criteria detailed under each category. Make sure you consider the total look, including choice of model, quality of photos and the overall impression.
STEP 3
Create a Reel
Create a short reel showcasing your inspiration and a bit about yourself. Your reel must include before and afters of your entry. Reels should be around 15-30 seconds.
STEP 4
Take four pictures of your finished winning look
1 × face on and 1 × side on image head–shoulders 1 × face on and 1 × side on image full or half–body You can show styling variations to highlight the versatility of your look. Make sure that the pictures are in high resolution and in a digital format. Please ensure to name your final 4 images files and your reel clearly.
STEP 5
Send in your entry and application forms
All entries must be submitted digitally. Scan your application form, signed photographer and model waiver forms and attach your reel and high resolution photographs and email to the following address: olivia.cullen@lanzaeurope.co.uk

THE PRIZES
After the entry deadline a panel of industry professionals will judge all entries.
Each category winner will receive a trophy on the awards night plus an in-salon marketing & PR pack to promote their award success.
Plus the winner of STYLIST OF THE YEAR will win a one-to-one full day of mentoring with a L’ANZA Global Director from the USA in the UK. A prize worth over £3,000.
THE TIMELINE
Deadline for entries is the 10th October 2025
The winners will be announced at our masquerade gala ball and awards ceremony on Sunday 23rd November 2025

We will be hosting a lavish Masquerade Gala Ball to celebrate The Academy Hair Awards 2025 on 23rd November 2025 7pm till late.
Our Masquerade Ball & Awards Party will be held in the opulent Grand Ballroom, at the famous Grand Hotel, in Central Birmingham and is sure to be a night to remember.
