LaBella Associates is not a Minority or Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE).

LaBella embraces the benefits and added strength created by a diverse project team. This diversity brings multiple perspectives to planning and design, strengthens community engagement, and ensures that solutions are informed, inclusive, and responsive to local priorities. For a project centered on smart growth, form-based codes, and the stewardship of natural resources, these perspectives are especially vital to producing outcomes that both respect Schoharie’s character and position the Gateway Area for long-term success.

LaBella maintains many successful working relationships with certified minority-owned, women-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, and other disadvantaged business enterprises throughout the State of New York. For this project, we have teamed with Mary Moore Wallinger of LandArt Studio (WBE) and Nan Stolzenburg of Community Planning & Environmental Associates (WBE). We are also teaming with Michael Allen of Regrowth Planning. While Regrowth Planning is not an M or WBE, we believe that Michael’s expertise will be paramount to a successful project.

LaBella will comply with M/WBE reporting requirements by completing required actions within the NYS Contract System. Based on the overall approach, project needs, and allocated budget, we believe our team is appropriately staffed to deliver a high-quality project to the Town of Schoharie. LaBella is prepared to make any necessary adjustments to our team in response to Town and NYSDOS requests and requirements.
