How it Works

SMART FINANCE OPTIONS

Instead of purchasing our smart lockers outright, end customers can choose from hire purchase, rental or pay-per-use models. The smart lockers remain the property of LAAS Invest, which also controls the payments system.

LAAS BONDS

Investors are issued with LAAS bonds in return for loans financing our smart locker projects. With the security of the physical asset and the revenue generated, your investment is a balanced risk with predictable returns.

A PROTECTED INVESTMENT

Transactions flow through our group’s payment platform, providing financial security to our smart locker projects. LAAS Invest also retains ownership of the asset. Insurance, maintenance and repairs are funded by the end-user customer.

The customer finances their smart locker system through a hire purchase contract with LAAS Invest.

RENTAL

Bonds generally represent a safer and lower risk investment than shares in a business. A bond is a loan a fixed interest and repayment and a fixed maturity. They are subject to a legal repayment obligation, which provides security for the investment provider as well as the investor.

In the case of LAAS Invest, you also benefit from the assurance that the smart locker walls you invest in remain the property of LAAS Invest until the end customer has made the final payment.

In addition to this, LAAS Invest always conducts stringent credit checks before entering into a financing agreement with our end customers.

1. What kind of returns can I expect?

Typical annual investment returns range from 4% to 6% depending on the level of investment and the term of the agreement. For more details, see our financial illustrations on this page.

2. What’s the minimum level of investment required?

The initial investment level starts at EUR100,000. Further investment levels can be made at your discretion. For example returns, please see the financial illustration examples in the tables above.

3. How do you manage risk in the investment?

Risk in smart locker investments is mitigated in a number of ways. LAAS Invest retains ownership of the asset throughout the investment period. We also manage the payment system for pay-per-use lockers, which provides control of the cash flow of a revenuegenerating asset. Our smart lockers can be deactivated or even retrieved in cases where a client defaults on payments.

4. What type of investors are you looking for?

We welcome interest from private and angel investors. We are not currently actively seeking investment from institutional investors. The type of investment we offer is in the form of bonds. Investors are required to have an EU bank account.

SOFTWARE

Our smart locker software is highly efficient and flexible. The Keynius portal is available for system and locker administrators to configure, manage and report on lockers, users and locker products. The software is easy to use for both administrators and users via touchscreen, mobile app, or a dedicated web page.

HARDWARE

We design, manufacture and supply all the components of our smart lockerwalls. Our lockerwalls come in all shapes and sizes, bespoke tailored and branded for each client. We also service and update existing lockerwalls.

Our smart locking hardware comes in two variants – an electronic wired lock and a battery lock. Usage methods include push2open, pop2open, door LED, locker lighting and a USB or power connection. Access options include RFID/ QR/BAR/fingerprint scanners and payment terminals.

PAYMENTS

Our smart, hassle-free payment platform manages and coordinates transactions. The platform eliminates third party payment processers, ensuring ease of use for customers and a lower risk for investors. With this innovative technology, we have complete access to and control over the cash flows of the business.
