Model Policy The following model policy is based on the Protecting Students in Schools Act of 2021, 1 which is supported by at least 158 organizations representing teachers, parents, students, children’s rights advocates, disability rights advocates, education reformers, civil rights advocates, and medical, psychological, and social work professionals.2 1.
