SOLAR FLARE

Solar Flare is an apartment redevelopment in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee. Taking inspiration from the radial symmetry of Renaissance star forts, the aim was to pro-

vide an equity of daylight for its inhabitants at multiple points throughout the day, as well as to maximize views and communality.

PROGRAM: RARE BOOKS ARCHIVE //

Arcade Archive is a rare books archive for the city of Milwaukee. Built to a modest yet detailed scale, Arcade Archive was designed to be the “missing puzzle piece” of Milwaukee’s City Hall Square,

providing ground level connectivity, a continuation of the plaza, and deference to its surroundings, capturing the proportions and human scale of neighboring buildings in a contemporary way

PIAZZA SCHOOL

Piazza School is an abstraction of both traditional urban central plazas as well as rocky outcroppings common to riverside bluffs. The project inverts the Plans / sections by kaleb idhe, Concept, landscaping, Diagrams, + elevations by myself

omnipreent notion of having classroms framing the edges of communal spaces, and places classrooms at the center of academic life.

ECOENVIRONS is a 140 acre environmental district redesign of the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in West Allis, WI. It is built around the concept of daylighting and re-wilding the underground Honey Creek in order to

create flood mangement as well as create a viable center. Mixed use construction at various scales surrounds a large “bathtub”.

RUIN RIDGE

ARCH 850: HISTORIC PRESERVATION STUDIO // PROFESSOR: MATT JAROSZ // PROGRAM: ADAPTIVE REUSE //

Ruin Ridge transformed the crumbling drystacked limestone ruins of the 1900 Maribel Caves Hotel and bottling plant in Manitiwoc, Wisconsin. After converting a point cloud of the existing structure into Revit, a program and

proposal for a wedding venue, botique hotel, and supperclub was implemented to repurpose and support the ruins without overpowering them.
