Patent Risks

Familial Risks: Nina could be at a possible risk for breast cancer and diabetes because all of those family members who either had breast cancer or diabetes died from it. She is not at i very high risk of these things only because she only shows signs of this from her father's sign side of the family. His mother (M.H) had diabetes and breast cancer. His sister (G.H) had breast cancer and diabetes.

Risk Assessment: NIH also known as the National Cancer Institute has a risk calculator for breast cancer assessments. They had determined based on her information that she has a 0.6% chance of cancer in the next 5 years. The average number is 0.3% in the next 5 years. For an entire lifetime, her risk is at 18.4% and an average number would be 10.1%.

Treatment and Prevention

Medications: I would not prescribe Nina with any medication because she does not have breast cancer nor diabetes so she should not be taking any of these medications. So far, Nina is doing a very good job with her health and making sure that she doesn't have any problems. There are not medications to stop cancer or diabetes from happening. There are lifestyle choices that you can do to take preventative measures like eating healthy and getting in exercise. Nutrition plans: I would encourage Nina to keep exercising and trying to get in healthy foods. She should try and eat less fatty salty foods like french fries. Here are a list of foods that Nina could eat so that she won't be so susceptible to Cancer ● Broccoli. ● Carrots. ● Beans. ● Berries. ● Cinnamon. ● Nuts. ● Olive Oil. ● Turmeric. I also recommend that she stops drinking alcohol 2 times a week instead she should just drink it once a week and drinks lots of water instead.

Lifestyle Recommendations: I would suggest that Nina gets in exsersise only 3 times a week. I would also suggest that she tries to eat out less and just make healthy home cooked meals. Nina should be doing a self assessment to make sure she does not have breast cancer or has not developed it yet. If she notices something unusual she should contact the doctors. Alternative Therapies: For breast cancer some alternative therapies that nina could do would include: ● Aromatherapy. ● Exercise. ● Hypnosis. ● Massage. ● Meditation. Patient Goals Patient Goals and Timeline: For Nina these are the specific goals I think she can achieve.

1. Every morning when Nina wakes up she needs to have a glass of water. She should be having at least 4 bottles of water a day. 2. 3 times out of the week she should try and go on a run or a yoga class. 3. She should try and eat out only 1 every two weeks. 4. She should do a self assessment every month to check and make sure she doesn't have any cancer. Although Nina has an higher risk than others I think that if she does all of these things she could lower her risk of breast cancer.
