erry spent his childhood trying to buy affection. He felt no love at home from his mother who was an alcoholic and drug addict. He rarely saw his older brother or sister who lived with his cousins and he never really felt like he fit in. Out of desperation, he would try to buy his friends and win their attention . . . at any cost.
