Project One // Hanging Gardens
An educational complex designed for San Francisco’s diverse neighborhoods to create community.
The intention of this project is to provide a central space that combines the functions of a Library for all ages. Featuring various spaces throughout the building to cater to different socio-economic user groups discovered during site research. The architectural design integrates sustainable elements to minimize its ecological footprint, aligning with San Francisco’s commitment to environmental stewardship. Additionally, the complex will offer educational programs and workshops tailored to the specific needs and interests of each neighborhood, fostering community engagement and lifelong learning.

Project Two // Center of Reflection
A visitor center on Angel Island, CA dedicated to the historical precident of the Island and it’s immigrants.
The aim of this initiative is to establish a comprehensive visitor center on Angel Island, California, dedicated to honoring its rich historical legacy and the stories of its immigrants. Through immersive exhibits, interactive displays, and educational programs, the center will serve as a focal point for understanding the island’s significance in shaping California’s cultural landscape. Emphasizing inclusivity, the center will feature inclusive spaces and accessible resources, ensuring equitable access for visitors from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, the architectural design will prioritize sustainability.

Project Three // Abstract Avenue
An apartment complex designed to serve the unique population of Artist, and Educators in Oakland, CA.
This project is a collaboration with Laura Fescenko to create a mixed use housing complex that is designed for Artist, Teachers, and Low Income familes. Heavily incorporating biophilic design into this project we aimed to bring the benefits of biophilic architecture to this dense housing development area of Oakland. Typically known for it’s incorporation in hospitals, biophilic Architecture has proven physical and mental health benefits, in other studies it is believed to increase creativity and productivity as well. A center for
Unsheltered
Veterans of San Francisco. A full spectrum approach to reduce homelessness.
This project aims to establish a comprehensive center for Unsheltered Veterans in San Francisco, offering a holistic approach to addressing homelessness among this vulnerable population. Through a range of services including housing assistance, mental health support, and vocational training, the center will provide vital resources to help veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Embracing principles of sustainability, the center’s design will prioritize energy efficiency and low environmental impact, reflecting the city’s commitment to both social and ecological responsibility.
