Michael Montoya Midrise Housing
A break in the levee on the Tiber river, bringing water to the people. A garden covered in silt washed away by the rain. A family on each floor.
Breakdown CO-OP provides a unique place in Gainesville for both participating in and observing music. As you work your way from the ground floor up, these activities begin to overlap in interactivity.
Stephen Belton Pavillion
A series of prefabricated posttensioned concrete beams. Walls poured from the earth. Water narrowing the gap between the ground and the sky. Glass as a canvas painted by nature.

Stephen Belton FurnitureThis stool is an exploration of the formal qualities of cement and the idea of sculpting what you touch. The unique top shape was created with an eight piece mold that was 3D printed and assembled.
In its rawest form, nature cannot be stolen. In the same, organic form without meaning lacks contemplation. There will always be some level of reconciliation by man. Rather than hiding this uncanny mockery, bring it to the forefront and let it co-exist.
