smooth start can be attributed to a great team of passionate teachers who have set the students on the right path
could not succeed without our hard working and supportive administration team, who make sure the facilities and logistics of the school run like clockwork, and the amazing parents who believe in what we do at KFS Last but not least, we have to credit our awesome students who have come into the year eager to learn, collaborate, socialize and have fun at school. The Elementary futsal team traveled to Pohang to compete in the first SKAC futsal tournament hosted by HIS After a long bus ride to Pohang the students faced 3 teams for the day. They won their first game against ISB 4 1 with great goal scoring and defense. The second game against AIS was more challenging but the team walked away with a 3 0 win The last game of the day was against HIS which we lost 5 1 The game saw a rally of defense from all players to fight back against a stronger team and leave the game with 1 goal, the only goal scored against HIS at the tournament The 2nd SKAC futsal tournament will be held on Saturday, 5 November at ISB A big thank you to the futsal parents who helped us with the trip to Pohang and a special thank you to Dave and Stanley’s mothers for accompanying the team

등풋살팀은 한동국제학교에서 주최하는 첫번째 SKAC 풋살토너먼트에 참여하기 위해 포항으로 향했습니다. 포항까지 긴 여행을 한 후, 학생들은 그날 3팀과 경기를 진행하였습니다. 우리 팀은 첫번째 ISB와의 경기에서 멋진 골과 수비로 4 1로 이겼습니다. 2번째 AIS와의 경기는 좀더 어려 웠지만, 우리팀이 3 0으로 승리하였습니다 그날 마지막 경기는 HIS와의 경기였는데, 우리 팀이 5 1로 지고 말았습니다. 이 경기에서 강한 팀에 맞서 모든 선수들이 수비를 펼치고, 토너먼트에서 HIS를 상대로 유일하게 1점을 득점하고 경기를 마쳤습니다 2번째 SKAC 풋살 토너먼트는 ISB에 서 11월 5일, 토요일 열릴 예정입니다 포항까지 가는데 도움을 주신 풋살 학부모님께 감사의 말 씀드리며, 함께 경기에 동반해 주신 Dave와 Stanley 어머님께도 특별히 감사말씀 드립니다. 팀선수: Grayson, Andre, Andrew, Meshari, Reagan, Justin, Dave, Stanley 감독: Ms Carlie Mcearhern & Mr Marcus Kotze

meet. Rain fell heavily that day and the course was a maze but our team ran fairly and put forth their best effort Now, more runners have joined the team to represent KFS in the final meet at DIS on November 8th Thanks to all of our runners for training hard and keeping the cougar pride alive.

The Boys and Girls Volleyball teams traveled to Daegu for their first tournament of the season The morning started slow for the boys’ team. They fell to AIS in three intense matches But the afternoon proved to be their time to shine With some serving runs complemented by some aggressive net play the boys team came alive to win both of their matches against GIFS and DIS The boys team ended #2 overall in their pool of play.
The girls’ volleyball team started the morning on fire. They went three matches against DIS for an exciting win After lunch they continued their win streak thanks to some amazing serving runs. The girls played with a lot of heart, great attitudes, and teamwork but fell in their final match against AIS. The girls’ team finished the day #2 overall in their pool of play as well Both teams were great ambassadors of KFS Please congratulate them on their success as
