The 12th National Assembly in 2022 has chosen this to be the theme event and this topic will be incorporated into the sessions in order to initiate the conversation about it and place building blocks al stability-friendly “hustle culture”.
Every great event has a theme, and National Assemblies are great events, and the 12th NA lives up to its name as a great event by having an important theme; mental health under the title of “Mental Health Equilibrium”
EVENT Mental
As students, doctors, and any other contributing individual to society, constant accomplishments and active engagement are expected from us, by ourselves and our communities, but this is not easy. The pressure of always being productive and staying active while also performing well in our studies or careers could have catastrophic effects on our mental health and drain us to a point where we’re fully burned out And burnout is the killer of ambitions, so it is very unwelcome amongst successful individuals However, leading a productive and ambitious life does not have to be mentally draining, it just needs some effort to balance out the pressure from work, and that can be done by taking time for our mental health, and prioritizing our mental well being. To prevent overwhelming exhaustion caused by too much work, it is important to take a break every once in a while and look back Human connections are what we usually tend to lose when we are focusing too hard on physical accomplishments, and with that comes a feeling of being distant from our true selves and our values. Besides this, there are many other downsides of ignoring our mental health for the sake of physical world accomplishments, and this makes attempting to balance our work life with our mental health a necessity.

On the very first day you arrive at NA22, we will be welcoming you with an Opening Ceremony, in which the president of IFMSA Kurdistan for the term 2021 – 2022, Dr. Hawlan Halgurd, and the Head of OC for NA22, Renwar Rebwar, will be giving their welcoming speeches. There will also be speeches by higher authorities from University of Sulaymaniyah i and other officials An overview of the past term’s accomplishments and plans for the future term. The voting procedure for the adoption of the 12th National Assembly 2022 will also be done during the Opening Ceremony. As always, entertainment will also be a big part of this NA’s Opening Ceremony and after that, we’ll be kickstarting more fun with our first night of social programmes
VENUE The venue of National Assembly will be UNIVERSITY OF SULAYMANIYAHTHE NEW CAMPUS. 6
HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATION Your accommodation will be at 4 star DAWA hotel with high quality breakfast and service. 7
26th of August: The biggest amusement park in Iraq, Chaviland, will be another interesting destination for our social programmes, many games and lots of fun
SOCIAL NIGHTS 8
After each long day of sessions, we have exciting and engaging social programmes every night, here’s a sneak peak into those plans: 24th of August: Xala Shwan Restaurant at the beautiful nature of Sharbazher, followed by a true Sulaymaniyah experience by taking our tea and sunflower seeds to Azmar Mountain and looking over the beautiful city
27th of August: Dawa Hotel and Restaurant’s garden will be filled with enthusiasm as we will be having our Closing Ceremony and last social programme there.
25th of August:Hitting the road to go to Dukan Lake’s beautiful resort to have a picnic and eat good food while playing games and doing Halparkee
CLOSING CEREMONY To end NA22 on a beautiful note, we have prepared a Closing Ceremony, in which the farewell message will be delivered, awards will be presented, OC will be applauded, and LOTS of memories will be made. It will be one of a kind and you don’t want to miss it, trust us. 9
