Q Magazine is for the modern women who wants to lead a fashionable and interesting life. Q magazine includes the lastest fashion trends and basic art introductions. This edition of Q magazine include some fashion trends, such as Japanese School Style and a woman needs ropes and ropes of pearl. Basic art covering Lyrique abstraction. How to Choose Floral Dress?

Floral dresses have the ability to provide a feeling of tenderness. High-density florals will easily give people a busy or overwhelming feeling, so when we choose floral dresses, we should pay attention to moderatly dense patterns. If the floral pattern spacing is too large, we can pick some skirts with slightly larger prints, so that the overall look will be more pleasing.

(Tips: Floral patterning at the right spacing will make people feel more comfortable!)

Color Choice is also important. Darker colors make the wearer look thinner, especially black. This is a fact that everyone knows. But in the floral scene, once darks bottom are selected or the matching is not good, styling will look dull and old. Macarons and Morandi colors could easily create a romantic and elegant hoiday atmoosphere.

The Novel Cure This artwork’s idea from a book called “The Novel Cure.“ The book describes many knotty symptoms in daily life. Those Knotty symptoms are not about diseases but some other annoying thing, such as being indecisive, lingering is one’s bed, hitting the toe, having a big mouth and so on. Licheng said, “Book’s author wants to solve symptoms of life. Me too. “ He wants to use interesting graphics to discribe the characteristics of these symptoms and display them in an amusing way.

He hopes people can face life’s small incoveniences with a sense of humor and calmness.

Why did you choose Motion Media ?

My majored in Graphic design in undergraduate. I think adding dynamic effects to my original foundation is more interesting than just doing graphic design. I stumbled upon a video about motion media which led to my choice of this major. I feel motion is between animation and graphic. It has many expressions, so I have more room to play.

What types of design initiative intrigue you?

I would like to have oppertunity to work with geometric design, digital installation arts and related new technology.

What is your source of inspiration?

My inspiration comes from books and keywords in research.

How long does it take you to make a video?

It depends on the length of the video and how many details there are. The more details, the longer it takes. For example, I am working on a passion project now. The video involves hundres of details, so I have one month to make adjustments.

Motion media is a trend. Do you think it has a future?

Motion media is becoming increasing popular. It is not only used for commercial brand advertising, but also for promoting TV programs and making movie trailers. Having said that, it is still entirely possible that another trend comes along and replaces motion media. The industry is always changing and each trend has its life-span.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I would imagine by then, motion media will be the mainstream.

Therefore, it will continue to be the focus of my career.

Perception Into Myself

Perception Into Myself was a sculpture inspired by a story about a wealthy man giving away his business and choosing to become a volunteer teacher in the poorest part of Africa where he achieved his life value and goals. In this materialistic society, people tend to be indulged in desires and ignore their own hearts or forget their early life purpose,to just live for some profits. The device I designed uses the way one person looks himself in the mirror to express that he wants to break away from the mirror to see his real look. The true body of the person is hurt everywhere by corrosion of desires. On the other side he is colorless, so he wants to stretch his neck to the back of the mirror to see his real look but fails to do so. Life is like a mirror. We need to rethink time to time to find the right life for us.

Japanese School Style Japanese school style is also called Kogal. The Japanese school uniform is modeled in an appearance similar to that of the European-style naval uniforms and was first used in Japan in the late 19th century, replacing the traditional kimono. Today, school uniforms are common in many of the Japanese public and private school systems.

As the symbol of East Asian culture, Japanese culture sweeps across the globe. The circle of school style uniform became an important role in fashionable circles.

Japanese School style has multiple collecation spaces. There are many choices for girls skirts, as jumper skirts and suspender skirts are both beloved.

We can see there are two characteristics of Japanese culture through the school style.

1. Collective consciousness: Japan attaches great importance to collectiveness and cooperation. From the school club to the team of the enterprise, learning how to act for the collective is always a part of training. Japanese uniforms can eliminate individual differences and increase the collective sense of belonging.

2. Code of ethics: Japanese education students’ irregular clothing reflects a person’s inner impulsive.

Japanese have been educated since childhood to pay attention to their dress, which symbolizes a person’s character and education.

Lyrical Abstraction Many people in the art world use the phrase “Lyrical Absraction” .

This word originated in France in the 1940s. Abstraction lyrique was used to describe various sensuous and abstract post-war European artistic movements. “Lyrical Absraction” is a seemingly self-defining term, and yet, for generations its origin and meaning have been debated. The American art collector Larry Aldrich thinks it has signaled a return to personal expression and experimentation following Minimalism. The French art critic Jean José Marchand thinks a variation of the term, Abstraction Lyrique, decades earlier, in 1947, to reference an emerging European trend in painting similar to Abstract Expressionism in the US.

In Greek mythology, pearls are proclaimed to be tears of joy shed by the goddess Aphrodite. Ancient Egyptians associated pearls with the goddess of healing and life, Isis.

Pearls are an exemplary example of nature’s way of creating something spectacular out of a minor disturbance.

Usually, the four types of pearls seen in jewellery are Cultured, Freshwater, Mother of Pearl and occasionally Natural pearls are used.

Natural Pearls are formed in a mollusk shell with no human intervention in the wild and are composed of calcium carbonate. Completely Natural pearls are becoming increasingly rare, therefore cultured alternatives are more regularly seen in jewellery.

Cultured Pearls are a tiny nucleus made usually from a hard shell bead and antle tissue that is inserted into a pearl oyster shell, which irritates the inside of the shell to create a nacre, which forms around the nucleus to create a pearl.

Cultured pearls are created in salt water in different areas around the world: ‘Akoya’ Pearls from Japan and China, ‘South Sea’ pearls from Australasia, Tahitian Pearls from the French Polynesia near Tahiti, famous for their black appearance.

Freshwater Pearls are formed in river mussels and cultivated in lakes and ponds in China and the US. Often, these pearls are a more reasonably priced option than saltwater pearls, with various different shapes widely used.

Mother of Pearl are created from the inner mollusk shells to create a iridescent surface which is used in a variety of decorative objects aswell as jewellery.

Pearls’ status in the fashion field continues to improve. Dominant throughout collections on the A/W 20/21 catwalks and trending on the Fashion Feed, pearls still are a key material.

For example, As a beginner, she got a client who refused to pay the full amount. The client criticized her speed, and told her that if she had known she was this young, she wouldn’t have hired her. Experiences like this were hard but they pointed out flaws in her business that needed fixing. After this, she constantly strived to improve her skills. She thinks it is necessary to talk to customers. Through the talk, she could understand customer needs and satisfy customer expectations.

Usually, she mainly does henna on brides and guests, but sometimes also takes at-home appointments. She had the opportunity to teach a henna workshop at a public library as part of their teen program. Sharmeen said she was very proud of herself, because until now, she still uses natural henna.

Despite the fact that commercially produced chemical cones are much cheaper and easily available, these cone cells contain harmful ingredients that can have a dangerous effect on users.

Sharmeen said she loved art and loved her job since she was a child. Although this job sometimes made her encounters a little difficulty, but it is more to bring her happiness.
