Kaiserlift early morning rides
The Kaiserlift starts at 7:00 in the morning, giving us the chance to experience the mountain at sunrise or take part in the morning yoga, the trail running workshop, the geology tour or the guided walk on Alpine plant treasure.
Morning yoga at Brentenjoch Yoga on the platform at Brentenjoch is a truly special experience. Please bring your own yoga mat!
Dates: Every Saturday from 28.06. to 30.08. NOT on 19.07.

Trail running workshop for beginners
Paul Koller gives valuable tips on surefootedness, coordination, fitness, equipment and orientation in the terrain when going uphill and downhill on the Brentenjoch.

The fascinating world of geology

A valid lift ticket is required. With the KufsteinerlandCard guest card, one ascent and descent are included. Participation itself is free with the KufsteinerlandCard and for locals, otherwise € 10 per adult may be charged.
Questions and Answers
Can I take my bike on the Kaiserlift?
No, unfortunately bikes cannot be conveyed on the lift. Should you be out and about in the conservation area with your bike please keep to the designated forest trails.
Can I use the lift with a wheel-chair or take a pram?

The Kaiserlift is part of the largest mountain adventure network in the Alps
The Kaiserlift Kufstein can be used with the Bergbahn Erlebnis-Card Wilder Kaiser-Brixental (hiking pass) as well as with the Kitzbüheler Alpen Sommercard.

If the wheel-chair or the pram can be folded up and locked, and weighs 30 kg max, they can be carried via the transport hooks. Please note that routes on the mountain are not suitable for wheel-chairs.
Can I take my dog with me on the lift?
Yes, as long as they are on the passenger’s lap. Dog boxes are also available on 2 chairs – in which larger dogs can be conveyed.
How long is the lift journey?
Travel time to the intermediate station is approx 15 minutes, while to Brentenjoch mountain station it is approx. 30 minutes, including a change at the intermediate station.
Can my child ride the Kaiserlift alone?
Children under 130 cm in height are not advised to ride the lift alone, regardless of age. Smaller children may sit on an adult's lap. The lift staff has the final say in deciding whether a guest is fit to ride or not.
Can two children travel together on one chair?
Conveyance of two children on one seat is not permitted.
Where are the toilets?
WC facilities are available in the valley and intermediate station.
Does the lift operate in the event of bad weather too?
The lift operates daily from 1 May to 2 November 2025, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The exception is when there is an advisory of severe storms. In the event of doubt, please telephone 05372 6930-363 for further information.
Which lift cards are valid on the Kaiserlift?
Bergbahn Erlebnis-Card Wilder Kaiser-Brixental and the Kitzbüheler Alpen
Sommercard are valid on the Kaiserlift, as well as the Kaiserlift season ticket and the KufsteinCard. Also the Tirol-Snowcard (valid from 1 to 15 May and in October) and the SkiWelt season ticket (valid in October).
Can the Kaiserlift be used with the KufsteinCard?
Yes, with the KufsteinCard you can not only use the Kaiserlift, but also numerous other leisure activities and services. Details at www.kufstein.at/kufsteincard
Is there a charge for the car park at the Kaiserlift?
Yes. It is a private car park, for which a fee is payable between1 May and 31 October. A day ticket for € 3.50 is available at both coin-operated machines at the car park.
Please have the correct amount, since the machines do not give change and do not take notes. At the machine towards the end of the car park (close to the lift station) payment by bank card is also available. Bicycle parking is free of charge and there is also a VVT Regiorad station.
Why does the lift stop sometimes?
For us, safety is a top priority. In order for people to get on and off safely, on some occasions the Kaiserlift will stop for a short time. However, after a few seconds the journey will continue. Should the lift stop for longer, please remain calm and follow the tannoy announcements.
Is it possible for the lift to go slower during boarding and for getting out?
Yes, inform the lift staff before boarding. The lift speed will be reduced. To inform staff that assistance is required to get out, your chair will be marked with a small yellow or red sign.

"Eagle's View" – This energy-filled place is located directly at the mountain station. Anyone who gazes far into the distance with the ‘Viscope’ will also learn about the surrounding mountains – names of the individual mountains and inns appear in the telescope.

"Ridge hike" – The ridge of the Hocheck is located between the Steinberg and the Walleralm. The spiral, which is protected from the wind, tempts hikers to enjoy a leisurely rest. Meanwhile the ‘Viscope’ enables views far into the distance, bringing the mountain peaks closer to those who are interested.

"Freedom - Space - Time" –The basic outline of this space, which is approx. 3 minutes from the mountain station, is a spiral. Here, your gaze is drawn to the north face of the Wilder Kaiser – a natural gem that is worth exploring. It is also where hikers can experience astonishing views on the impressive Kaisergebirge.
Himmelschauen "Sky-gazing" – The Gamskogel is a magical place to observe the sky and the clouds. The spiral-shaped larch wood bench makes it possible to gaze into all directions, or to just take a seat in the inner section – depending on the sun and how your mood takes you.

"Alpine pharmacy" – Discover the highest Alpine pharmacy in Austria at Berghaus Aschenbrenner. An interactive experience of traditional pharmacy practices and herbal knowledge is provided. A few of the local herbs and their healing effects are presented in words and pictures, and you might even enjoy the smell of some familiar aromas.

"Source of Life" – Discover this energy-filled space between the intermediate and mountain stations, on your hike along the forest trail. At Riegen-Bründl you can take a break and listen to the rippling water.

"Geology trail" - more than just rocks. Discover fascinating insights into the formation of the Alps. A fascinating journey through the different types of rock in the Naturtschutzgebiet Kaisergebirge. Small hands-on experiments will arouse your interest in the exciting topic of geology.
