The Only Black Beach in America

The significant arrival of Black people during Memorial Day weekend is no accident. Gullah Geechee folks founded Atlantic Beach, SC. Also, George Tyson purchased land in 1934 to sell it to African-Americans, who contributed to the development of this area. Soon after, in the early 1940s, this beach was thriving with nightclubs, restaurants, private residences, hotels, and other enterprises. Despite Jim Crow regulations in America during this time, this was the only beach where Black people could enjoy themselves without being scrutinized by their skin color. Black Bike Week, formerly known as the Black Pearl Cultural Heritage Festival, began in 1980. Despite the town's endeavors and countless challenges to preserve the historical site, it remains America's only Black Beach. And the Black Pearl comes alive around Memorial Day weekend, with over 400,000 people participating, which significantly increases the town's revenue. However, Atlantic Beach's impressive history goes beyond Memorial Day weekend. Atlantic Beach has a rich African-American heritage that requires one to dig deep for more factual information. To be continued.

Truth Behind Mecklenburg Declaration of independence, Juneteenth and Memorial Day

The White Washing of the struggle for liberty started on May 20th, 1775, with the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. When residents of socalled Mecklenburg county declared themselves free and independent, "they say" did not surface until 1819, making North Carolina, as it is today, the first free colony of the first 13. Colonizer's they say, freed themselves from colonizers. Yet, to this day, NATO and European countries still conspire and plot against people of color. Even in 2022, with street names like Tryon, a British army General, or the city itself, Charlotte, a melanated Queen to George III, who was the King of Britain during this era. So how can Britain be free from Britain? Possibly the Yeh is-WAH h'reh, the melanated inhabitants of the land rebelled and resisted the invasion, colonization, and slavery.

This document didn't surface, They say, until 1819,( 44 years later), with colonizer's names on it. But, in 1776, we had the declaration of Independence on July 4th, one year later, with a constitution. Being from Mecklenburg county still seeing the invasion via gentrification, systematic oppression, mass incarceration, genocide, and slavery. So I ask myself, why is it not revealed in the school curriculum about this war or rebellion? Or that Charlotte, NC city is named after a woman of color Queen Charlotte. Once again, History continues to be swept under the rug. If you know, you know! So this year, we celebrate on May 20th, and we call it Kacawlaca day, the annual pre memorial day celebration. The truth about Memorial day is that it was created on May 1st, 1865, less than a month after the confederacy surrendered. Freed people from slavery honored fallen union soldiers from the civil war in Charleston, SC. Still, whitewashing effects changed memorial day to May 30thish.

However, this declaration was created to honor both sides of slavery! This brings us to Juneteenth, short for June 19th, which marks a day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas. Their arrival was to inform the enslaved community about the Emancipation proclamation. Texas became a colonizer in 1845, so many owners of enslaved people began to flee there with hopes of continuing the practice of slavery. Opal Lee is also known as the Juneteenth grandmother. She walked 2.5 miles in June 2022. The distances walked as a 94-year-old woman were a movement Opal Lee saw no one else executing but herself. She was on a mission to lobby the United States of America to declare Juneteenth a national holiday. Opal Lee accompanied President of the United States Joe Biden in signing Juneteenth into federal law, making it a National Holiday in 2021. Although this day will always be remembered and commemorated, we must constantly recognize the event's whitewashing. Because, after 157 years, this country has chosen to make Juneteenth a national holiday. Nevertheless, historical and contemporary groups have honored Freedom Day for over a century. This is yet another way to profit off Black communities' suffrage. To be clear, no one-handed away Freedom; enslaved people emancipated themselves, according to evidence. Regardless, Juneteenth is our day, just like any other, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Terrorist Attack at Tops Supermarket In Buffalo NY On May 14, 2022, Payton Gendron livestreamed a terrorist attack on a live stream platform, killing ten Black Shoppers at Tops Supermarket in Buffalo, NY. According to witnesses, Gendron arrived at the scene wearing body armor armed with an assault rifle, prepared for war-like action. Despite this, the mainstream media, rushing to cover the story, refuses to label Payton Gendron a terrorist. Not to forget how the authorities apprehended Payton peacefully on this exact day. This obviously contradicts the daily experience of unarmed black victims of police brutality. Detectives in Buffalo declined to comment on Payton Gendron's Terrorist letter, which appeared to outline his racist, pro-, and antiSemitic beliefs.

His letter also reveals his wish to remove all non-Whites from the United States. Then, as the manager of Tops Supermarket, Latisha Rogers called 911 for help only to get hung up on by a dispatcher of 8 years; Rogers said, "She was yelling at me, saying, 'Why are you whispering? You don't have to whisper,'" Ms. Rogers told The News, "and I was telling her, 'Ma'am, he's still in the store. He's shooting. I'm scared for my life. I don't want him to hear me! Can you please send help she got mad at me, hung up in my face". This dispatcher's name has yet to be revealed; she was dismissed after 8 years of working with 911 for unprofessionalism. Unfortunately, these tragedies have been circling the country, the contemporary society must take action to prevent these terrorist groups from hurting innocent people. For example, approximately 10 days after the Tops Supermarket massacre, another shooter named Salvador Ramos, 18, killed 19 students and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. The US massacres list goes on, and the local community shouldn't wait until another tragedy happens again. This is a continuous mishap that the United States community needs to take more seriously. It is not wise to sit back and wait for change; be the change you look for outside yourself.

Robbery At the Pump!

Customers are paying for dirty gas at the pump, which can potentially cause severe car repair complications, resulting in residents paying high and avoidable auto shop repair costs. Multiple Carolinas news sites have reported on water and other debris discovered in gasoline, yet the problem continues to exist. Also, several well-known gas stations, such as Circle K, Quick Trip, shells, and others, are reported to have insufficient fuel. When a car's engine fills with dirty gas, it will either hesitate or accelerate when driving forward—leading to a severe collision or other highway speed difficulties.

Inspecting the gas pump after fueling your car is no easy method. And the majority of the time, it's too late for your car engine after pumping gas with debris. However, consumers should report pollutant gasoline to the Department of Agriculture (NC 919-733-3246 or SC 803-734-2210). Customers can contact their car insurance companies or the gas station company directly for compensation information. Also, the website findlaw.com is a great resource that gives consumers options to help with other legal actions against gas stations with tainted gasoline. Gas stations have the resources to protect their customers from buying lousy gas. If the fuel stations are unsure about their gas, then place an alarming sign to customers of an unexpected pump that may contain water or other lousy debris mixed with fuel. The customer has paid a high price at the pump; the gas station should show some transparency.

ATTACK ON BLACK INVENTORS Genius Designed Disinfecting machine

"It doesn't have any cables connected to it"

Aaron Salter, Jr. was a well-liked retired Buffalo police officer who worked as a security guard at Tops grocery store on the city's primarily Black eastside. On May 14, he was also one of ten people killed in a white supremacist mass shooting. Apart from his day employment, Salter had spent the last decade building a waterpowered vehicle engine. He recorded the entire process on his YouTube account Cal'El M. Dayhaat'e, which now has thousands of views and comment sections filled with praise for Salter's brilliance and commitment to creating the engine. Salter became interested in alternative fuelling techniques after local gas costs exceeded $5. He tried pouring water into his automobile engine for the first time in 2012. The strategy worked because he momentarily drove down the street at 30 mph before the automobile cut him off. He then continued his study and tried several techniques to get the engine to operate using electrolysis, even going so far as to patent his invention. Therefore this contemporary society needs to be aware of the attacks that have targeted our community. These Black Inventors need to be protected, and a law should be in place to safeguard Black Inventors. Big Corporations have the resources to carry out such Attacks to dismantle the ability to take over their capitalist market.

KACAWLACA CHAMPIONS AND WARRIORS

Malcolm X Fifty-six years later, an NYPD officer confesses the truth behind Malcolm X's assassination on his death bed. As an undercover cop a rookie, Ray Woods conspired and plotted to execute Malcolm X, causing division and chaos in the Muslim and black communities on the day of his assassination. After spending decades in prison, the two individuals initially charged in this assassination, Muhammad Aziz and Khalil Islam, have been acquitted of all charges. On May 19, 1925, Malcolm X was born as Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska, to parents who supported Marcus Garvey's teachings. His father, Earl Little, was known for spreading the teachings of Garvey. Rev. Earl Little continued to support panAfricanist leader Marcus Garvey, which got the attention of the Ku Klux Klan and other White supremacist organizations. Little, a Baptist pastor, was often attacked. Louise Little, his mother, also worked as the national recording secretary for the garvey movement. She was known for being very educated and could speak multiple languages. Louise Little also taught her children and insisted on them reading newspapers like the Negro World, the official magazine of the UNIA, and Grenada newspapers." Malcolm would later follow the teachings of the honorable Elijah Muhammad and became a spokesman for the Nation of Islam. During one of his prison sentences, Malcolm X wrote a letter to President Harry Truman in which he declared himself a communist who opposed the Korean War. This drew the FBI's attention, and he was converted to monitoring for the rest of his life. Malcolm X started the newspaper Muhammad Speaks in the basement of his house. He is recognized for establishing the custom of compelling male members of the Nation to sell newspapers on

George Tyson Atlantic Beach, initially a tourist attraction for African American vacationers in Myrtle Beach and other East Coast areas during segregation, is one of North America's remaining African American-owned and operated shores. George W. Tyson and his wife, Roxie Ballen Tyson, began buying and developing land in the region in 1934. From 1943 through 1956, the Atlantic Beach Company, made up of doctors from North and South Carolina, maintained this practice, and the little haven became known as the "Black Pearl of the Grand Strand. From 1934 until 1943, George Tyson was the first to develop this region. The plots were purchased by the Atlantic Beach Co. – J.W. Seabrook, R.K. Gordon, and P.C. Kelly III – in 1943 and continued to be developed. The beach experienced fewer tourists when neighboring local beaches began desegregating in the 1970s. The town of Atlantic Beach, founded in 1966 with Emery Gore and Millard Rucker as its first two mayors, is one of the nation's few black-owned and operated seaside towns."Atlantic Beach, called "The Black Pearl" because of its rich history and African-Americanowned businesses, is located in Horry County in South Carolina's northeast corner.

John Brown In the pre-Civil War United States, John Brown was a key figure in the abolitionist movement. Unlike many other anti-slavery advocates, he was not a pacifist and advocated for violent action against slaveholders and any government officials who assisted them. Prior to the 1839 economic crisis, Brown was an entrepreneur who owned tannery and cattle dealing companies. He became interested in the abolitionist movement after the violent death of Presbyterian clergyman and anti-slavery campaigner Elijah P. Lovejoy in 1837. "Here, before God, in the presence of these witnesses, I commit my life to the abolition of slavery," he stated at the time.
