Campuses Khalifa University has two campuses; the Main Campus and Sas Al NaKhl Campus. The Main Campus is located in Abu Dhabi Island where the Sas Al Nkahl is located near Sheikh Zayed Bridge, and the distance between them is 12 Km. Both campuses have full academic and research facilities, as well as campus facilities like sports courts, and food/beverage retailers. Students are allocated per their programs of study.

Accreditation

Colleges

All academic programs at KU are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the UAE Ministry of Education. As for international accreditation, all the undergraduate engineering programs are accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).

Academics at KU are guided by three colleges with various programs in Engineering, Science and Health Sciences.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements Undergraduate admission to Khalifa University is highly competitive. In order to be considered for admissions, students must meet the following minimum criteria.

Postgraduate Admissions Requirements Applicants seeking admission to a graduate program at Khalifa University must meet the following minimum criteria: •

The applicant should have graduated from high school no later than two years prior to their application year Applicants, from inside UAE, must hold a UAE High School Certificate with minimum required averages; in addition, to satisfying EmSAT exams. Applicants, from outside UAE, must hold a High School Certificate with a minimum required average, in addition, to satisfying required scores on Advanced level subjects (AP, IB, and “A” Levels).”

Master Programs - Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent.

Student Life Khalifa University strongly supports and works closely with students to optimize their campus life experience during their educational journey. Students are involved in and undertaking the responsibilities of helping to organize major events and celebrations such as the National and International Day, KU Bazaar, Film Festival, and Open Day. Student Services support students to lead events and activities such as the new students Orientation Day, Career Fair, Majors Day, and non academic recognition award ceremonies.

In addition, Student Services facilitates students active participation in external competitions at national and international level, external conferences and events.
