Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (KSPC) is a statutory body constituted under the Pharmacy Act of 1948. Its primary objective is to regulate the professional practice, ensuring qualified registered pharmacists provide top-notch services to patients. KSPC grants registration to eligible pharmacists, enforces a code of ethics, and collaborates with healthcare organizations for the betterment of the profession.
Karnataka Pharmacy Council Registered Pharmacist Welfare Trust (KPCRPWT) is a social welfare organisation. It focuses on the welfare of registered pharmacists and their families, supporting their well-being.
Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC), is a vocation education awarding body, approved and recognized by National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), Govt. of India, and working under aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India for the Skill development initiatives in Pharmaceutical (including AYUSH and Cosmetics), Biotechnology (including Biopharmaceuticals, Medical Device & IVD and Allied Biotech) and Research & Development Services Sector in India.
KSPC-Skill Development Centre (KSPCSKDC): Under the aegis of the KSPC and KPCRPWT in collaboration with LSSSDC and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Skill Development Centre has been established to conduct programs for pharmacists in Retail, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Industry, Academia, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and others to provide hands-on experience, thereby enabling them to excel in their careers.
