KYUSS LIVES!
Después de permanecer inactivos durante más de quince años, el vocalista John García anunció en noviembre de 2010 la reunión de Kyuss, con el añadido de Lives!. La idea es realizar una gira y grabar un nuevo álbum, el primero de estudio desde su retirada en 1995. Kyuss, cuarteto californiano de Palm Springs, irrumpió en escena allá por 1989 logrando convertirse en poco tiempo en uno de los grupos más influyentes y precursores del Stoner Rock o Desert Rock. Con influencias basadas en los riffs de guitarras de Black Sabbath y la psicodelia de los dorados años 70, en su discografía figuran grandes discos como “Blues For The Red Sun” con clásicos de la talla de “Thumb”, “Green Machine” o “Mondo Generator”. Kyuss, Kaliforniako Palm Springs-eko laukotea, 1989ean sortu zen eta stoner rock zein desert rock estiloak bultzatu zituen banda garrantzitsuenetariko batean bihurtu egin zen, eragin handia izanik ondorengo talde berriengan. After fifteen years of silence, the vocalist John García announced in November 2010 Kyuss’ reunion, with the addition of “Lives in their name”. The idea is to do a tour and to record a new album, the first studio record since their retirement in 1995. Kyuss, a quartet from Palm Springs, California, burst onto the stages there in 1989 becoming in a very short time one of the most influential bands and the precursor of the Stoner Rock or Desert Rock. With influences based on the Black Sabbath’s guitars’ riffs and the psychedelia of the golden 70’s, in their discography appear great albums like “Blues For The Red Sun” with classic hits as good as “Thumb”, “Green Machine” or “Mondo Generator”.
