Located in the sandhills of northeast Montana, we have been focusing on cattle with the right type and enough capacity to survive in our harsh environment. We will mention type and consistency throughout the catalog many times. If you follow our program or if you have read into our philosophy you will know these two things are of top priority.

We have been buying our customers calves back for 15 years now and feel that has been the best way to prove our genetics. All of our yearling heifers go to Jordan Montana. They have to breed up in one of the harshest environments that any female will work in.

We believe that the bulls offered in this sale provide our costumers with some of the best Red Angus Genetics anywhere. Our Genetics are bred with the commercial cattleman in mind. WE believe that our bulls will improve the profitability of your ranch with long lasting, fertile females that will produce big stout calves.

CATTLE SELL IN CATALOG ORDER UPDATED INFORMATION Ultrasound Data, Yearling Weights, & Measurements will be Available on sale day & on our website, SEMEN INTEREST Sandhill Red Angus will retain 50% semen interest in all bulls selling.

TRUCKING All bulls will be fed free of charge until April 1st. All bulls will be delivered free of charge. We will assist in any way possible with transportation of the females in the sale.

HEALTH Bulls will be semen tested by High Plains Vet Clinic prior to delivery. They will also be current with fusoguard, wormer, and vaccinations.

INSPECTION OF SALE CATTLE Cattle will be available for viewing at the ranch prior to the sale, contact Andrew to set up a time to stop by. Cattle will also be delivered to Sidney Livestock the Sunday before the sale.

INSURANCE/BREEDING GUARANTEE Sandhill Red Angus personally guarantees all bulls have a one year breeding guarantee.

50 RED ANGUS THREE YEAR OLD COWS

Here is a rare chance to buy a set of cows with all the work done. These young cows are coming right off the top of our replacement program and are to calve March 20th for 40 days. These coming three year olds are the females that raised all the embryo calves in this sale. They did a great job with their first calf and are bred up tight again. If you are looking for fertile females, take a look here. These young cows are bred to high power Sandhill Red Angus bulls. These cows will raise a great set of calves this year and for many more.

50 RED ANGUS FIRST CALF PAIRS

Selling pairs for May 1st to June 1st delivery.

All the pairs offered for sale will have AI calves out of Blue Collar at side. This is a rare chance to get breed leading genetics into your cowherd in one generation. We will work with buyers in any way possible to help with delivery and trucks. All calves will have two shots at birth. Sidney Livestock will collect 70% of the purchased price on the pairs and the other 30% will be paid at delivery.

Duke 0075 just may be the most complete calf in the sale!! 0075 is a bull we feel is royally bred. Out of a beautiful Pacesetter first calve heifer that goes back to the old 123Y cow. F132 is like all 491 daughters; easy keeping, beautiful uddered, and very quiet.

We leased his sire 5047 to beef 360 this fall. They came up, toured the cows, and kept asking about the 5047 calves. 5047 calves come easy and show exceptional type and capacity at a young age. We keep going back to him for his unbeatable consistency. A sure shot heifer bull that will produce calves that have unmatched shape and capacity.

Duke is built just like his sire, but is a touch bigger. Big barreled, long spined, and extremely athletic; 0075 is a bull we feel confident in saying he may be the best heifer bull to sell all spring!!

0006 is so much like his sire Blue Collar 295E that it is scary. 0006 is stylish, long spined, and very correct. He is exactly what we pictured when we did this mating. He has a long and attractive in a pattern that is a little longer and thicker than his sire. At Sandhill Red Angus, we believe in consistency. We want our calves to look the part from the day they are born. We want them to have lots of vigor, be square built, and dark red. We believe 0006 will do all these things as good as any sire we have ever used. 0006 should sire daughters that are impeccable. He has as much cow power behind him as any bull that will sell this spring.

We plan on using 0006 very hard in our own program.

LOT 2 This is the first set of Blue Collar 295E calves to sell in any volume. They may have been one of the most highly anticipated calves in the country. This set of 295E calves did not let us down either. Here at Sandhill Red Angus, 295E is exactly what we look for in a sire. His calves are born with a look that is rarely seen anymore. They are a very dark cherry red, long spined, and square. You could pick out every single calf of his at birth.
