FOOTBALL COMPLEX

Asian Football Confederation (AF C) Presint 5, 62000 Putrajaya

Malaysia grew rapidly after its independence in 1957 under its second Prime Minister of Malaysia, Allahyarham Tun Abdul Razak Hussein. Shah Alam was once known as Sungai Renggam and was noted for its rubber andVV oil palm estates. Later, the same area was identified as Batu Tiga prior to Malaysian independence, and has been a centre of rubber and palm oil trade for centuries.

The Sungai Renggam Plantation was earmarked for the development of a township by the Selangor government in 1963, and under the recommendations of Vlado Antolic, a town planning advisor from the United Nations, chose the present site strategically located between Kuala Lumpur and Port Klang.

To formulate a design brief of AFC Youth Training Centre and AFC Academic Centre of Excellence ie. Educational Facilities, accommodation, fitness and training centre and sports business hub etc. To support new landmark of AFC+FIFA Mini Stadium and becoming specific sport facility (any sports related to FIFA Football - football-based game/sport). STUDENT HOUSING

Pekeliling Iskandar, 32610 Seri Iskandar, Perak, Malaysia

This course will be devoted to the study of housing. It focuses on housing issues, the concept of neighborhood, housing types, housing layouts, community, and culture. The project requires students to design a Vertical Student’s Accommodation in Seri Iskandar that is safe, secure and also offers better facilities for study. This accommodation is owned by a private company which rents different types of rooms to students.

Perak is a state of Malaysia on west coast of the Malay Peninsula. Has land borders between Kedah to the north, Penang to the Northwest, Kelantan and Pahang to the East and Selangor to the south. There are many theories about the origin of the name Perak. The most popular etymology is “silver”. This associated with tin mining from large mineral deposit reflecting the Perak’s position and one of the w orld’s largest sources of tin. Some said that Perak was named after Malacca’s bendahara, Tun Perak. Other said that the name of Perak is deriving from malay phrase “kilatan ikan dalam air”. Perak has been translated into Arabic as (Dar al-Ridwan) which means “abode of grace.

CONCEPTUAL IDEA: : Architecture That Fits with the Environment”

The concept of “Harmonious Integration” in architecture revolves around creating structures that seamlessly blend with their natural surroundings, drawing inspiration from nature’s forms, patterns, and systems, while prioritizing sustainable materials, passive design strategies, and green elements like living roofs and walls. It begins with a thorough site analysis, respecting the local terrain, climate, and ecosystems, and often favors adaptive reuse of existing structures to preserve cultural and historical significance. Foundations are low-impact, and there’s a deliberate effort to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, blurring boundaries. This approach also respects local cultural and architectural vernacular, aiming for long-term sustainability through durable, easily maintainable systems, ultimately fostering a sense of unity between the human-made and natural environment.

The “Inspiring Student Residences” concept aims to create accommodations that transcend their functional role and become catalysts for personal and intellectual growth. By offering an environment of excitement and awe, these residences not only support students’ academic journeys but also contribute to their overall development as individuals who are curious, creative, and inspired.

CONCEPTUAL IDEA: CONCEPT : “keeping things LESS IS MORE”

The concept came from this one powerful surah from the Qur’an: Al-Isra

Opponents of modesty are extravagant. Allah SWT has commanded His servants not to squander wealth wastefully. The wasteful is the brother of the devil. As stated in the QS. Al Isra verses 26-27 as follows:

“And give to the close relatives their rights, to the poor and those who are on the way and do not squander (your wealth) extravagantly. Indeed, the wasteful are the brothers of Satan and Satan is very ungrateful to his Lord. “
