01 RESIDENCE PROJECT DESCRIPTION The challenge was to design a residence for a family of five members addressing the client needs and also keeping in mind the surrounding The client works in bank and going to get retired in 3years he asked for a 3bhk spacious house with enough sit out space to enjoy the view around them.

The intent of the design was to provide modern house considering the air circulation and views around the site

SITE LOCATION Kodungaiyur, Selavoyal , Chennai The site is recognised to be a quite and a clamer place with beautiful green cover surrounding the site area and makes it a best place to enjoy after retirement

02 EWS APARTMENT PROJECT DESCRIPTION The challenge was to understand the constrains of urban regulations in urban areas and do the spatial planning accordingly.

To know the socio-cultural and economic needs of contemporary urban society to be addressed for a larger group of people.

The intent of the design was to provide a good and affordable housing for the fishermen community living there.

SITE LOCATION Nochikuppam, near TNSCB housing, Chennai The site is placed in busy road which is mostly populated by fishermen and construction people.

The site has a good air circulation from all sides and has a good view of sea from the site.

03 CONTAINER CAFE PROJECT DESCRIPTION The challenge was to design a cafe using shipping containers

SITE LOCATION kovalam beach, tamil nadu The site is surrounded by the view of water on three sides.

It is one of the happening places in weekends where tourists and local people gather to surf and spend time in this location

creating a connecting space between the containers

stacking up the container in different direction to get different views from inside

04 SEMI PUBLIC SPACE FOR NGO PROJECT DESCRIPTION The challenge was to design a semi public space for an NGO organisation.

I’ve chosen ‘NIZHAL NGO’ as my client.

The mission of nizhal is to promote tree culture in urban areas.

They are involved in activities like therapeutic gardening and horticulture for students and public,tree walk, seed collection etc.

The intent of the design was to provide a space with improves community interaction and sharing of knowledge with others and also addressing the client’s needs by not disturbing the existing vegetation cover.

SITE LOCATION Kotturpuram Tree Park, Adyar, Chennai The kotturpuram tress park was basically a rubbish dumpyard which was changed into park by the efforts of PWD and nizhal organisation.

It is one of the happening places during the weekend where people working in corporate company, elders and student come together and organise fun activities, exhibition etc.

05 MONTESSORI CLASSROOM LAYOUT PROJECT DESCRIPTION The challenge was to understand and design a montessori classroom and provide them an enlightening and nurturing environment.

The intent of the design was to provide a light airy and a fun filled space with examples of work that they aspire to do.

By providing seperate learning areas for different subject such as Math,Sensorial,Language,Practical life and Culture.

Providing open shelves within easy reach of students.

07 RURAL DOCUMENTATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION Pachalur is a small village in kodaikanal taluk in dindigul district of tamil nade the rural study is based on the tribal people of pachalur which is classified into two groups 1. paliyan 2. pulaiyan We got to know more about there living condition,lifestyle,occupation and there unique culture which they still follow.

We also got to know about there building material and construction techniques and how it stands still even in harsh climate.
