MAY 2016-MOTHER DAY EDITION

THEY CALL HER

MOTHER

A MOTHERS CRY FOR HER CHILDREN

mother’s cry is like a supercell thunderstorms moving with the mean wind flow through the layer of the troposphere sounding the alarm. A mother’s cry is like a large earthquake, it’s difficult for her to stand up as her body violently begins to shake A mother’s cry is like open heart surgery where the chest is cut open and surgery is performed on the muscles, valves, or arteries of the heart. Like her spirit and soul are being torn apart. A mother cries you see the pulse of her tears like rivers of waters flowing downstream, echoing the voice of her screams. Her weeping is like nimbus clouds of rains precipitating the safety valve of the heart when too much pressure is laid on it, the screening test from her pain. A mothers cry can be sad, joyful, sorrowful or a simple sigh, But the boisterous sounds of her cries are heard throughout heaven and God immediately draws nigh. Thank God for creating these mothers.

I've been fortunate to be truly raised by a village of two wonderful grandmothers in Lynn and Mamie, and I'm lucky enough to have fond memories of my great grandmothers Josephine and Elizabeth (nana). I was blessed with a wonderful Stepmother in Carletha, and even a half dozen aunts that treated me like, little brother, son and nephew depending on what was necessary.
