“No More Rotten” is an innovative project that explores the potential of creating cruelty-free, sustainable leather alternatives from fruit waste. By utilizing peels and byproducts from various fruits such as apples, cactus, pineapples, bananas, oranges, and coconuts, the project aims to reduce waste and provide a viable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional leather.
Each fruit-based leather has its own unique properties, ranging from durability and water resistance to softness and biodegradability. The project showcases the versatility of these materials, demonstrating their potential use in a wide range of applications, including fashion accessories, upholstery, and furnishings.
By repurposing fruit waste into a valuable resource, “No More Rotten” contributes to a more sustainable and circular economy, reducing the environmental impact of both the agricultural and fashion industries.
This innovative approach not only minimizes waste but also offers a cruelty-free alternative to animal-based leather, catering to the growing demand for ethical and environmentally conscious products.
BRINGING

From all fruit produced, we throw away nearly half, either by farmers because the pieces do not meet the cosmetic standards of supermarkets, or by consumers in developed countries.
A large amount of peel waste is generated from fruit and vegetable-based industries and household kitchen and has led to a big nutritional and economic loss and environmental problems.
Processing of fruits and vegetables alone generates a significant waste, which amounts to 25–30% of the total product.

“Artisanal Memoirs” is an interior design project that celebrates India’s rich embroidery heritage by creating four distinct spaces inspired by the unique styles of Kashmir (North), Toda (South), Kantha (East), and Parsi (West). Each space provides an immersive cultural experience, showcasing the intricate artisanal workmanship and deep cultural roots associated with the regional embroidery traditions.
The Kashmir-inspired space features luxurious materials and Kashida embroidery, while the Toda-inspired space showcases bold geometric patterns and a striking color palette. The Kantha-inspired space highlights the intricate running stitches and folkloric motifs of Eastern India, and the Parsi-inspired space celebrates the vibrant, nature-inspired motifs and opulent beauty of Parsi embroidery.

Through carefully curated design elements, materials, and colors, “Artisanal Memoirs” offers visitors a deeper appreciation of India’s diverse textile heritage
Known for its intricate needlework, Kashida draws inspiration from Kashmir’s beautiful scenery of gardens, lakes, and flowers. The complex motifs and patterns of Kashida embroidery reflect the skill and artistry of Kashmiri craftsmen.
Kantha is a centuries-old tradition of stitching patchwork cloth from rags, which evolved from the thrift of rural women in the Eastern Indian states of West Bengal and Orissa.
Parsi embroidery recounts India’s multicultural history through textiles. As part of India’s rich and varied textile heritage, it tells a story of cultural fusion through intricate threadwork and vibrant motifs.
Known by its name, Pugur in Toda language (meaning flower), the embroidery tradition has lived through a century of its documented history to manifest today in drapes, dupattas, table cloths, stoles, kurtas, pajamas, skirts and jackets.

This suite spotlights indigenous Toda tribe embroidery by means of interpretation across surfaces and scales: a long headboard wall showcases conventional motivation enlarged, while other reinterpret simplified shapes - contrasting with ebony, white and vermillion decor. Infusing cultural craft into modern hospitality spaces for an enlightened immersion celebrating living heritage.
