The series addresses teenagers and pre-teens informing them about puberty, body changes, personal hygiene and all other aspects of a healthy and fulfilled life.

Body Care The Legs

You are in your adolescence, which means that you are growing fast and your arms and legs are getting longer. Although you might appear to yourself badly proportioned at the moment, do not worry – soon things will fall into place and your body will look harmonious. Rapid growth may cause some pain in your calves and even your whole legs, especially at night, but this should not concern you. These are growing pains, which are quite normal, and they will soon pass – suddenly, just as they first appeared.

You take more than 25,000 paces every day and should therefore take care of your feet. The feet are the most neglected part of the legs!

You should therefore: wash your feet with soap every evening wear cotton socks and change them daily do not wear the same shoes/trainers every day allow your shoes to air out.

Volleyball

This game is a team sport with elements of tennis played in a sports hall (or on a sand court). It develops your body strength, agility and team spirit. You can practise it in clubs, but you can also play it in a sports hall, on the beach, in the street and countryside. Equipment: a volleyball kit, trainers and a ball.
