How ManyAttempts are there for NEET 2023?

Recently, the NationalTestingAgency has notified the attempts for the NEET 2023 examination.As per the board, for this year there is no limit on the number of NEET attempts.This message was available on the official website. Since then, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released a letter that states that there is no cap for the number of attempts as of December 2017 and will be applicable for the same.

With this, the CBSE has scrapped the three-attempt rule is no more applicable for the same. Now, there are no attempts for NEET for the unreserved category. Also Check: NEET Eligibility

NEETAttempts -Age Limit

As per the official notification, the agency has notified that the lower age limit is going to be more than or equal to 17 years on the date of filling out the application form. The agency has stated that the candidate’s age should be calculated keeping December 31 of the year as the base date.

Talking of the upper age limit, earlier the maximum age was 25 years for the unreserved category. However, as per the latest update, the upper age limit has also been scrapped and there is no upper age limit and the attempts for NEET.

NEETAttempts - Educational Qualification

The prescribed educational qualification for the NEET examination is going to be qualifying class 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).The candidates who have passed class 10+2 with the prescribed subjects from a recognised board are eligible to write the attempts for NEET.

NEETAttempts - Minimum Qualifying Marks

The candidates willing to know about the NEET attempt has to secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed for their category as well.As per that, the unreserved category will be required to secure at least 50% marks in the class 12th examination.
